Re: The I'm Proud of / Life Accomplishments / Brag Thread *OFFICIAL*
I once out shot Andrew Goudelock (fresh off of averaging 24 points per game his senior season) in a pick up basketball game at College of Charleston.
He came down, knocked down a 3 pointer over me. I went back down, sank one over him.
He came down, nailed one over me. I went right back, drained another over him.
He went down, crossed me over, then sank a step back 3. I went down, pump faked and got him in the air, sank a three around him.
He went down, missed a three, the rebound came out to me, I pulled up over him on the fast break and sank a fourth three.
He went down and tried to answer, and missed another three. Feeling good about myself at this point, I pulled up about 8 feet behind the line, far enough that he couldn't get out to me, and sank about a 28 footer.
It's not something I brag about to people or think about as one of the greatest moments of my life. It was just a fun little instance that I find cool and a couple buddies still bring it up to this day.

Re: The I'm Proud of / Life Accomplishments / Brag Thread *OFFICIAL*
I joked about my tennis/soccer "accomplishments", so I kinda want to list my (albeit minor) accomplishments for real.
In tennis as a junior I was #3 singles, and this kid from Saginaw Nouvel destroyed me during the regular season. We got to the regional tourney and our top singles & doubles teams both got upset early, and in a strange twist it was all up to me to beat the same #3 singles player that owned me twice during the season in order to qualify for state finals, but the match was at a separate court, so my teammates couldn't watch and didn't know the results til we drove back to the main site.
Well, kid destroyed me again in the first set, then coach (who had traveled with me, knowing the importance of the match), pulled me aside and pointed out his conditioning issue, and suggested I keep each point alive as long as possible to try and wear him out. This is why the man is a coaching legend in my area lol, it worked perfectly and I was able to knock the kid off in 3 sets (best of 3). I'll never forget the looks on the faces of my dejected teammates when they'd assumed I'd lost again, only to find out I'd won and sent us to state finals
Oh, and for soccer, I wasn't really eligible to play til my senior year, and I fractured my foot about 1/3 of the way into the season (which went undiagnosed until years later when an x-ray tech asked me about my previously broken foot), and I still made honorable mention all-area on one leg! lol i know, weak sauce compared to football/basketball tales, but I'm still proud!Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

My daughter is 16 months and 3 feet tall. I am immensely proud of this even though neither I nor her obviously did anything to attain this.

I'm a brown belt in American karate.
I routinely score in the 98th and above percentile on standardized tests. (EXPLORE, ACT (only my age, not everyone).
I was riding my 90 Suzuki 4wheeler. I flew off, it rolled over both my legs. I survived with barely a scratch. The vehicle stopped 20 feet from my creek, in which if it had fallen I'd have to tell dad. "..." And he'd kill me.
I knew before the draft G3> Wilson (I thought he was first round talent) > Luck.
I memorized at least 40 needtobreathe songs.Comment

While Russell Wilson is being brought up...it was about a month before the draft last year. I told my friend the Seahawks need to draft Russell Wilson. He's got all the talent in the world, there's no other QBs I would want in this draft (other than Luck/RG3) and he would be a freakin' steal. If the Seahawks take him, I'm gonna go crazy and dance in the streets.
Seahawks took him. I didn't dance in the streets, but I was pretty damn excited.Comment

SpoilerYou'll never get those ten seconds back.
I can also jump out of a pool from a standing position, obviously dependent on the height I'm jumping.Comment
