It's weird how the law works. But I just saw that it's not a crime if the owners don't call it in lol. Obviously in this situation their not.

It's actually simple: for every crime you need a victim and a suspect to prosecute. If people don't mind having their property painted then there is no victim and no crime.

There are millions of examples including domestic violence.

For example: The victim in the case of a drug charge is the State of North Carolina (let's say the charge took place in NC)

Here is the thing I want to say about those guys in brooklyn. I'm from Brooklyn myself. Born and raised here (and still here). That video is in a neighborhood right next to my hood (East New York/Bushwick). What people don't understand about that video is that neighborhood is mostly Black/Hispanic. You rarely see white people there (recently). Especially people who are not from the NYC. I know friends who consider these places "danger zone". But Banksy draws something on a wall. And people come out of the woods to see it and take pictures. And a place no one wanted to go before....becomes super popular. All Banksy did was spray paint on a wall.

In other words, the Hipsters love him and the dudes from the Hood couldn't give a **** about any of his work but they see that the Hipsters love his stuff so they charge the Hipsters $20(ONLY $20!?!?!)for a picture.

Heard from my ex-GF that he was in the Bronx and tagged up a spot over there also and some were offended by the mural over there.

Great points. I totally get that the people would have to complain/press charges.

I've realized that the hype/news about Banksy just annoys me, so I try to avoid it...Doesn't impact my life, so let him do as he wants.
