My brothers and I are going out with my dad and her wife to have dinner somewhere in another city just to do something different from what we're used to so, just not feeling it.

I miss being a kid and having a huge new year's eve dinner with my parents together, brothers, all my grandparents, uncle, aunt and some friends at my mother's parents' house. Eating lots of homemade food, watching yearly futbol highlights and music videos showing the countdown until new year and then watching on the roof fireworks from all the neighborhood celebrating with drinks, English pudding, nougat, panettone, cakes and ice cream until we were all tired. Good times.

My mom is at my house to babysit my son, and my wife and I are going out to a friend's house to hang out for a bit. Nothing major.

NYE is lame when in a relationship, IMO. Next year I'm volunteering to work so I can make money and not spend it.
