I signed up so many years ago on this site, but it wasn't even until probably like 2010-2011 when I really started using this site, and wasn't until maybe 2012 until I started using threads outside of just the sports games.

lol, crazy how long I could be on this site and not even do some things until years later.

And why we had one in the first place.

I believe that specific model only runs around 65K. A car commercial with the Maserati name attached to it at that price during the Super Bowl makes all the sense in the world. It was the company introducing a more affordable option to the world. I think the brand name is what threw so many off. Makes sense though when find out how much the car actually costs.

Eh, there are more than enough people who can afford a car at that price point. The market is certainly out there. Maserati wants their piece of that market.

I know there are. I, unfortunately, am not one of them.

              Re: Off Topic 2014

It's crazy to see how young people are when they first sign up on internet forums and stuff. Sure, I knew how to use a computer before I even went to kindergarten(it was those old Commodore 64 ones lol) but I never even signed up on my first internet forum until I was probably 9-10 years old(which I'd still consider somewhat young considering at the time I was probably like the youngest person on those forums)

Now, there's people who are like 7-8 and stuff on internet forums and other places.

They should have made that a tad bit more clear.

I didn't sign up for my first internet forum until I was 25 or 26. I didn't even know what forums were, I came across OS looking for game reviews, then came back later when I discovered roster threads. Less than a month later I was in the Supporters Forum for it's final weeks (rip).

It's a double edged sword. They wanted to appeal to the market that can afford a 65k car without presenting their product as if it's worth anything less than 100k. I scoffed at the commercial too.

I saw the commercial and had no idea what was being advertised. I saw their logo and 5 seconds of a car.

They could have explained it was a cheaper Maserati, but they had to spend the vast majority of the commercial being philosophical douchebags with some chick pontificating about some random, unconnected bull****.

I get my first experience with computers until I was in 5th grade I think.

I only know what a Maserati is because of Gran Turismo 5/6.

Started becoming active on the Internet when I was 11-12. Always used protection.

First forum I signed up with that I remember being active were the Sega Sports forums. I was posting about my WSB2k2 franchise, someone directed me to Dynasty Manager where I hung for years. I was a fiend for sports games and news, which led me here in 2004.
