Have any of you guys ever kept a journal?

I don't mean like, "dear diary, this girl at work today had such a nice fat ***...", but more like streams of thought you have when you're alone, or whenever, that seem significant in some way; maybe about something you feel is a fundamental truth, or philosophical, or a better way of doing something, or just your own values put down in words.

Often times I'll have these internal monologues when I'm alone, and I'll be stringing together thoughts, almost like I'm writing a speech in my head, but it isn't meant to be to anybody, just me thinking. Sometimes I just think I should be writing stuff down, going off on tangents, but in a sort of organized way on paper, if for no other reason than to reflect on it later.

Think I'm gonna start doing it.

I actually had this same thought cross my mind last week. Haven't ended up going through with it though.

That's way too much work for me to even think about, let alone do.

Plus none of my thoughts are ever of any importance, so I luck out there as well.

Haha well I don't exactly think I'm coming up with anything that's life changing, at least not for somebody else, so not important in that way, but good for personal reflection.

Frankly, the fact that I posted that rather than just writing down what prompted me to post it, probably doesn't bode well for the whole idea.

Well we're clearly all lazy ****s.

My girlfriend and I were just talking about our dreams the other day. They're so strange and vivid, there's definitely some odd stuff going on up there at night. Totally crazy how it's like you're having experiences while trapped in your own mind.

lol, a number of dreams I've had predicted the future! Some good, some bad! Gets abit scary anytime I have a realistically bad dream cause I wonder if that might happen in real life too.


On to another topic....I applied for a job about 2-3 months ago and I didn't even get an interview out of it. However, looking at the website today, the job listing is STILL on the website. So should I even bother applying again or not? It's not even a big position,just some part time thing with not many requirements either, so I don't know how I didn't even get an interview when the job is still open.

Blackhawks game is a much better experience.

I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to watch Damien Lillard in person, personally. I watch entirely too much Blazers because of him.

MWR is offering the game for cheap. The only hockey I've seen is a an AHL game.

My friend and I have been looking out for anything in Chicago or Milwaukee. I would want to go to a Blackhawks game.

Kinda excited that i'm gonna see my first Lightning game(I saw the Panthers once when I lived in Ft. Lauderdale when i was 7) over spring break. Just gotta pick between the Bruins, Coyotes, or Panthers. Bruins seems like the obvious choice but tickets are more expensive.

I've started keeping a Journal lately for my future children. A friend of mine passed away last year a few short months after his daughter was born. Tore me up to know she'd never know how great her father was. So with that thought in mind, I decided I wanted to be at least a little prepared in the chance that I don't get to spend as much time with my children as I'd like. So I write in it about once a week, especially when something big happens. There is an App on the iPhone and Macbook called Day One that I use. It makes it look more like a blog, you can add pictures, times stamps and locations. It's pretty cool.

That way my kids can one day look back and see how big of a knob their father is and wonder how he ever stood a chance with their mother.
