Am I in the right to be pissed off here?

My friends and I have had a camping trip planned since we went the same time last year. We have been hyping it up for months and we all are using PTO to be off work. One buddy got a new job and was lucky enough to be able to get off for the trip. After this huge stroke of luck the same buddy drops it on us two weeks before that his fiance's extended family (not parents, random aunts and uncles) are randomly flying into town on that Friday (not a special trip to meet him) so he is having to bail on the Friday morning of a Thursday - Sunday trip. The rest of us won't have to leave so it's not the end of the trip for everyone.

He is so ****ing whipped that he hasn't even tried to compromise with her to at least leave on Saturday so that he gets 2 nights out of the trip.

Well, at least he told you guys 2 weeks before.

So.. American Airlines is covering the cost of my flight home. I'm leaving this afternoon to Dallas and then from Dallas to Birmingham.

Total cost from Chicago -> Dallas -> Bham -> Dallas -> Tokyo -> Sasebo is $1400 for the Navy.. I would have had to pay for the re route to Birmingham.

Trust me when I say this young shipmate..............they will get that back out of you in some shape or form

Get there at least 1hr early.Bring tons of resume's. Eye contact sit up straight and speak up loud. Also use the mind state that this your job to lose. Sell your self before you leave do some test runs in the mirror or with somebody, Good luck man!

I can't tell if this show is serious or not. My afternoon sports shows are all off because of golf so I switched over to some random ghost show but when they said this town was haunted by a "sheepsquatch" I almost fell out of my chair

update: Ahh it's not a ghost show, the guide lied, it's a monster show instead

Regarding the online franchise we have 8 guys who have responded so far. I would consider increasing the maximum users if there's more interested, but probably no more than 12.

I created this spreadsheet real quick. Some of them are assumptions, so let me know if I need to make adjustments.

The thing that's really dependent for me is how many games we're looking to play a week. My schedule can be kinda tight.

Jeremy any idea on this?... I'm curious as well cuz I have a 7 month old at home and Baseball & Softball will be starting up for me in May.

I'm thinking that it would probably be around 2-3 games a week, but I won't truly know the answer until I get more info on Flex Scheduling. Heck, I've been trying to figure out exactly how flex scheduling works, but I haven't had much luck. It doesn't help that I'm at work and most sites like TSN are blocked. If anyone has any details please point be in the right direction.

I'm hoping that, as the commish, I would just open up a block of games and everyone can play those games whenever they want.. well, unless they're playing another user, then they'll obviously have to coordinate with their opponent.

I wanted to make this a smaller league because A) The Show has always been one of those game that where the CPU puts up a fight and we should all still lose a fair amount of games and B) so that you don't have to worry about someone else's ability to play every single night. I'm hoping that with flex scheduling when you want to play, you can. Also, if someone gets in a bind, then I read that you can toggle Quick Counts on/off, so that should be a good way to help them to get their game in faster. Hopefully, I can find the info soon and give you guys a better answer.

Does beer actually go bad after the expectation date? I have a couple that got lost in the back of the fridge. Expired in December, but have been in the fridge.

Depends on what kind of beer it is. Some will be worse than others when it's old. For example, you want to avoid really old beer that has sediments in it such as wheat beers.

Beers like Bud Lights will be just fine.
