Oh and to make it fun for me there are bees around the unit...
    1) Make sure the air conditioner is set to a temperature below the current room temperature. This is the key to an air conditioner turning on.

    2) Check power outlets to make sure they aren't the culprits. Plug in another device--such as a lamp--to see if it works in the same outlet. If the power is out, move on to circuit breakers and fuses. If they're not working either, you'll need an electrician, according to the Repair Clinic website.

    3) Check the wiring. Burnt wires may prevent electricity from running the air conditioner. If wires are in the garage or outside, an animal may have chewed through the wires.

    4) Make sure the thermostat is on "cool" and is working. To check this, turn the air conditioner off, remove the thermostat's cover and unscrew the Y terminal wire. Turn on the power. Hold the wire by the outer covering--without touching the bare wire--and hold the bare wire against the R terminal for two minutes. According to home improvement author Don Vandervort, if the compressor starts working, it means the thermostat is broken. A faulty thermostat sends bad signals to the air conditioner and may trick it into thinking it is colder than it is, and therefore it doesn't need to turn on.

    5) Visit the outdoor air conditioner unit and look at the condenser power switch. Make sure it is turned on.

    6) Call a repair worker if none of these problems fits. Many problems--such as problems with the compressor--require the help of a professional technician, according to Repair Clinic website.

    Hope this helps

Never plead guilty to a traffic, always get a lawyer. Got a speeding ticket in a work truck about a year ago and had a buddy take care of it for me, only cost me $100 for going 45 in a 30 and it got reduced to a non moving violation.

How much does it cost for the lawyer?

$300+ for going 12 over? yikes

Speaking of A/C units, mine is screwing up again It's overheating just like the old one did two years ago, I need to somehow create shade so it's not baking in the sun all afternoon. Hopefully the maintenance guys can rig up some tarp or a slab or plywood or something. Hell for all I know maybe the side vents are clogged, I don't have a ladder so I can't get out and check it myself, like I know what the **** I'm doing anyway

Coin star machines are one of the most ingenious ideas ever.

Of course the problem is it's embarrassing as **** when you're standing there shoveling in every last bit of change you've ever had in your life and the sound the machine makes while you're doing that is basically a giant notification to everyone within distance that "hey, this guy's poor!"

We could possibly have the Blackhawks and Heat both win championships again in 2014! If that happened,it'd be first time since 97-98(Red Wings and Bulls) we had that happen in pro sports(same winner in consecutive years,in multiple pro sports)

My dad always managed to beat speeding tickets. He always came up with something like the radar gun not being properly calibrated or something.

Granted, he never was more than 10-13 above the speed limit so it wasn't like he was getting 80 in a 45 thrown out lol

**** that noise. Keeping change =/= being poor. I made 73 bucks off a coinstar before. That's a brand new video game bruh, or a handful of blu rays. All for virtually free.

That's the easy way to try to beat ticket. A lot of officers either don't do this as often as they are supposed to or don't fill out the paperwork for it, even though it probably wouldn't have pegged whoever was speeding the same anyway.

                              It's barely even speeding.

My last ticket was in '95 so I had no idea what to expect but didn't think it would be that high. That's California for you I guess. A small part of it, $35ish, is traffic school fee so the point doesn't hit my record.

I'm best friends with a ticket lawyer so it was free for me but it's generally around $100 to $150 to fix a speeding ticket. It's almost always cheaper to get a ticket lawyer to get it reduced but even if you did end up paying a little more, it's worth it because your not going to get the points on your license so your insurance won't go up.
