Legit question: Is there a difference? I'm guessing no.

There is a big difference. Poison sumac leaves welts that leaks clear liquid on the skin and it is 10 times much easier to spread to other parts of your body compared to poison ivy.

Where as poison ivy just leaves a rash with no welting or leaking.

Put in my 2 week notice at work yesterday. I'm taking the offer I posted about earlier this week.

It's for a small start up company that is expanding. It's exciting to be able to grow within a company, building it from small start up to... who knows. I'll be doing stuff I never thought I would, like going to conventions all over the country to showcase our product and secure contracts with vendors. There are some realistic contracts we're looking to get or are already in talks with, and it's going to be my job to spearhead that effort.

It's taking my life in a completely different direction then I ever imagined. I sought the advice of my fiancé, my dad, and a couple of people I really respect and the response was overwhelmingly positive and they shared the same excitement as me to be a part of something big.

I'm leaving behind some things but I'm signing on to this venture for the potential I see. It could take me to places even my wildest dreams never imagined. There is inherent risk but that's the chance you have to take to strike gold. I have a backup plan in place just to cover my bases, too.

Movin' on up!

Had to walk down to Rite Aid then went to Jimmy John's afterward. The front window of this particular Jimmy John's is tinted and slightly mirrored from the outside though still rather easy to see into the building while on the inside and fronting the window is a counter with stools at which I chose to sit while eating. While I'm eating this lady comes walking down the street and proceeds to stop directly in front of me, face the window and start fixing her hair apparently oblivious to the fact that someone was sitting inside directly opposite of her and basically staring her in the face. I guess she finally noticed me after 15-20 seconds as she moved a bit further down the window to finish fixing her hair before coming inside the Jimmy Johns.

*** **** I hate my roommate right now.

I met this cute Japanese girl at a karaoke bar out in town and midnight approached and we all had to get back to base (Japan curfew) so I asked if she wanted to come with me to base. She said yes and I got my buddy who is a 2nd class help me get her on base. Anyways, we dance and have a few drinks and it became clear to me she was in it for the long haul with me.

So I talked to my roommate and he was going to stay next door with someone so we could get some space. I explain to her how to get to my room (we can't have visitors past a certain hour) and I go up first and she finds it with no problem. I open my door and there's my ******* roommate passed out drunk on his bed. Girl gets in my bed and is all about some contact and even let's me make a move with the hand, but she shut me down soon after because my roommate was there asleep. I mean, I don't blame her and I'm glad she's at least a little classy.

It's his room too, but we had an agreement and the Navy lodge was booked up so we couldn't get a room there. I was going to buy him some beer in exchange

Anyways.. Apparently she's from Tokyo and is going home tonight. It's raining like crazy and she just left to meet her mom who's flying in so they can do some sight seeing, but the weather might mess that up. I'm hoping she gives me a call later. She had me set an alarm for 0530 so she could meet her mom at the bus station.

Just a normal night full of shenanigans in Japan. Man.. Talking to Japanese girls is infinitely more easy than American girls.

Well, you win some, you lose some. Good thing about military life is that women literally throw themselves at you overseas so you will have plenty of more opportunities. Your roommate does sound like a jerk though. Is that the same one that leaves their clothes on the floor ?

Applied for a job at Eastern Kentucky to be their Athletics Digital Broadcast and Video Coordinator.

Not above applying for a job at our rival college, considering the same position at Morehead State is a graduate assistant position with a stipend compared to a full-time, salary gig like this is.
