I'm going to look at a house today. Ashleigh looked at it on Tuesday and really liked it. I can already tell I'll love the back yard (it has a damn greenhouse, knowwhatI'mthinking?) its just a matter of being impressed with the house itself.

That's dope. Was over the future in-laws, and was checking out the garden they have. Man, I love me some veggies, I definitely want to grow some stuff when we own a home down the road. I'm a sucker for homegrown tomatoes, but I'm most interested in growing hot peppers. I think it'll help mix in more vegetables into my diet.
A greenhouse though? Looks like you're quitting your job and becoming a full on farmer. Plus, that privacy. Need some help?

When getting a tablet, would people suggest even considering getting an open box one? I saw one at a store and it's much cheaper than it would be if it was completely brand new. They state that it's been fixed up completely IF anything was wrong with it and that there's no fingerprints,scratches or anything at all on it. So to me, sounds like it's brand new, but don't entirely know if I should get it or not.
Anyone have any(or know of anyone who has had any) good or bad experiences getting an open box tablet?Comment

Starting my new occupation this coming Monday instead of the following one. Unbelievably excited for so many reasons. I feel as if I'm beginning my career and not just starting another job.
It's a surreal feeling for me. Less than a year ago I was working two jobs from sun up past sun down just to scrape by. My former job promoted me and that helped but once this new opportunity came along I started seeing the ugly for what it was there. I feel as if I'm abandoning ship before it really sinks. Even my direct supervisor sees the writing on the wall, and has an escape plan himself. My position is being cut upon my departure, with no plan to replace my vacancy. Yikes! The treatment we've gotten as leaders of the backbone of a very successful store has been average at best. I feel very alienated, and I'm on my way out. It's a slap in the face to my direct supervisor as far as I'm concerned. He deserves better. The store will have no one to blame but themselves when the dust settles. My time there has been positive, but a lot of changes have occurred the past 4-6 months and I just see everything crumbling around me. This opportunity couldn't have come at a better time!
But that's all being put behind me. To bigger and better things, I say! I'm all in on this new venture and ready to get started.
The overwhelming lesson I've learned is to be patient, but when things start to go south and your hands are tied and you begin to feel abused, and a great opportunity practically punches you in the face, you do not look back or hesitate. I got mine open box at Best Buy, was cheaper and they said that particular one was originally bought like like 2 weeks prior so it was still basically new. Haven't had any issues with it at all about 8 months later, I just need to replace my screen protector as smudge marks have gotten underneath it and it's a white iPadSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

I would consider buying open box depending on the demographics of the area that store is in. But I would just buy new. I bought an open box tablet from Staples. Took it home, it didn't work. Took it back to the store and they said sorry this particular model is discontinued, you have to call our corporate office. Called corporate office, they said yeah it is discontinued, if you mail it back to our corporate office we will give you a refund in 7 to 10 business days after receiving the item.Comment
