Sadly most (maybe all) of his post have been deleted, but you can still find some of his stuff where people quoted him every now and then if you know where to look.

Is it ungrateful to ask someone what section tickets are in that they are offering free? Someone just asked me if I wanted to go to a Rangers' and I have no desire to go unless they're premium seats...

Trick is to immediately ask them what kind of seats they are once they ask you, while simultaneously implying they are in fact premium seats.

"So I have an extra ticket to the game you wanna come?"

"Oh word? You got box seats!? We in there!"

"Yeah dude I got them from [fill in the blank], we'll meet up before the game" OR "[polite chuckle] nah not quite I have tickets in the [insert bad section here]"

What you do to wiggle out of bad seats at that point is up to you.

I would say if you don't want to go unless they are premium seats just don't go. Let them offer the tickets to someone who might actually want to go to the game.
