I had some custom Japanese chop sticks made for a few friends and family.

I know they won't be used much, but I thought it would be cool, along with a lot of japanese small yen. I almost never spend 1 and 5 yen pieces and rarely ever spend 10 yen pieces.

I've become really good with chop sticks too. I didn't even mean to. I just use them often out in town and usually use them in the room.

But if we have a thread like that, then everyones stories will end up like: (spoiler if you haven't seen HIMYM ending yet,even though it's been 6 months so it's your own fault if you wanted to see it but haven't yet)

All stories will end up with the wife dying and whoever is in the Ted role,several years after she dies,going after an old friend(who has distanced herself from everyone the past dozen or so years) he dated in the past and broke up with and flat out told him she doesn't love him.Not to mention she was previously married to his best friend. And on top of that...the kids will be perfectly fine with their dad dating/probably re-marrying after their mom died.

Yes,I'm still not over that ending and haven't even attempted to watch an old episode of that show since.

If you go to Harrah's there's a pretty great sports bar called the 810 Zone that's run by a local sports radio station. I've never been to that one, but I've been to a couple of the others, and it's pretty solid.

Because I had been lazy about shaving my facial hair, I had a beard that was about 3 inches long (company policy is half an inch, but nobody said anything, so I went with it).

Customer came in last night, "Oh, you going Duck Dynasty? Cool!"

I shaved that crap off this morning.

Does Harrah's have a sportsbook? I couldn't find anything online that said they might, but wasn't sure. Can you smoke in bars in KC? On either side of the state line.
