Yes, for our daughter back in 2006. Not sure I can remember any details to help, but I can try.

Do you remember what they look at as far as your information goes before they determine if they'll(Bank or in this case Sallie Mae) allow you to be a co-signer?

Eesh, no. I'm sorry. I remember name and social security, address, employment...that's about it. Too far back and the process certainly might have changed since the market crash.

LSU already announced it's closed tomorrow.




While I love what this says about LA, I hate this because this means our Mardi Gras break will be cut short and we might have to go to the dreaded Saturday classes that are usually reserved for Hurricanes

A major university closed for 32 degrees and some snow.......

I realize they don't have the plows/salt/etc. but unless they're expecting a foot of snow that just seems ridiculous.

Snow can be dangerous to travel in even when you live in a part of the country equipped to handle snow. Living in New England I want to laugh at them, but it does make sense. Better to be safe about it.

Well, to be fair they're more worried about the bridges icing over than the snow. The only way to into Baton Rouge is to cross a bridge or multiple bridges. If I'm coming from Watson, I have to either choose between traffic or take backroads/cross three different bridges before I get to the actual interstate.


It also doesn't help Baton Rouge's roadway systems are made for a town half it's size. BR still hasn't gotten used to the post-Katrina explosion

They've simply given up plowing this winter unless we get over 6 inches it seems. Right now all side roads are basically hard-packed ice.

It takes people up here a snowstorm to get back into winter driving mode and they've been doing it all their lives. I can't imagine how bad people in Louisiana are at it. Even with only an inch on the ground. I imagine people flying all over the place.

I suppose I shouldn't rip a LA school for closing, with how many closures there have been this year, haha. Although I was surprised to see the colleges around here were closing.

Got a text from the U of M (idk why they still text me these updates after I've graduated) last night saying all classes were canceled today because of cold.
