Re: Off Topic 2014
I asked how I was supposed to know she wasn't a cop or a rapist.
She never responded though, guess I turned her off.

I've never watched The Taste. My mom's boyfriend talks about it, but I've never caught it. Worth it?Comment

Re: Off Topic 2014
Kitchen Nightmares is probably my favorite show of all time. I don't know what it is is but I've seen every episode multiple times. I wish more than the first two seasons were on Netflix because I've watched those two seasons beyond exhaustion.

I think they're doing another one of those kids ones this year, too. I didn't watch that one, either.
My ranking of the main cooking ones I watch:
Kitchen Nightmares, Hell's Kitchen, Masterchef, Chopped, Top Chef, Iron ChefComment

Re: Off Topic 2014
I think the cooking shows are pretty good though I don't really watch them. Actually, I used to watch this cake baking show that was on Food Network which was pretty good. Basically it was 4 (I think) teams of 2 who would be assigned a theme and they'd make the cake and dress it up in said theme. It was passably entertaining to me.
Though you know the cooking shows are getting oversaturated when Headline News is doing a healthy eating version where they cook for people with health issues like diabetes.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Off Topic 2014
I think so. Four teams of four each led by someone famous in the food industry. First round is a team vs. team competition. Coach of the losing team must select a member of his team to eliminate. The next round is a every cook for his or her self. Weakest spoon (show is about a single taste instead of a meal) gets the boot. All the coaches are likeable. Anthony Bourdain and Marcus Samuelsson are two you would recognize.Comment

We're the same way with real estate shows. I get into them on a football-game type level.

There is some new cooking contest show with Alton Brown that I liked as well. I forget the name.Comment
