They didn't play awful D. About as good as any other team we've played. I hit a few threes early (was 4 of 6 from out there the first half) and our main to the bucket guy actually got to the bucket instead of settling for outside shots like normal. We got a few more fast breaks and got more shots to fall in general than we normally do. That was the main difference. There were definitely a few times where they lost track of our guys down low, our guys would make cuts and I'd make the pass down for an open layup. There were a few more times where I screwed up and didn't play the right pass so we lost out on a few more. So, maybe not the greatest D, but hey, I'll take it.

I stepped on a piece of glass and getting it out of my foot was some of the worst pain I've ever experienced. My apartment looked like a murder scene after it was all said and done.

How does that happen in intramurals?

They were far more athletic than us. Our team wasn't/isn't very good. Had we been allowed to finish our first two games (lost 46-6 and 61-19 in games that ended early in the second half due to the mercy rule) we probably would have given up 90+ in those too. The fact that we only gave up 58 in our game before this one (which we lost 58-27) was basically a miracle. Also, I'd seen teams score 100+ last year before the rules changed and we still only played four 8-minute quarters. The 94 last night in a game of two 20 minute halves

I might have to ban my fiancé from driving a car. Pothole wrecked her rim late last week, then this morning she had to go up over a curb to avoid rear ending someone in the snow. Same wheel. Apparently the tire is facing outwards... Parked at her work.

We're pumping money into our wedding in the fall, so our savings is ticketed for that. Ugh! When it rains it pours, right? She's freaking out, but we'll pull through.

Just another day.

I have officiated intramurals the last 4 semesters and have reffed 3 games during that team where a team scored 100. One was 100-75 or something close. We have some really good teams and some really ****ty teams that scores like that are more than possible.

We have some guys who do Varsity and College games. I'm not their level, but I'm probably our 5th best ref out of 30-35 or so. We have some absolutely horrible refs, but I'm solid, at least from what I'm told.

I think I finally figured out what's wrong with all of my fingers. It sounds like carpal tunnel is setting in. Not bad for a 22 year old

This is so annoying, but hopefully I can finally figure out what exactly has been going on with my fingers for so long.
