Re: Off Topic 2014
The American Airlines post above makes me wonder if there are more idiots today than there used to be. Or are the idiots today just much louder and confident due to our p.c., everybody is a winner and indeed a genius with opinions that are relevant and matter culture.Battle.net: xXKING08Xx

A little bit of both. The internet gave idiots the platform to say whatever they would like without consequence.Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles

Re: Off Topic 2014
My girlfriend's brother is a real, bonafied moron. I've detailed his excursion into the world of puppies so that still lingers, but thankfully all of the puppies eventually found better homes so that's a blessing honestly.
Dude is supposedly going to community college in the Fall and is (or is supposed to) quitting smoking. For some reason him and his wife felt like these things needed to be rewarded and so he got a $10,000 "commuter" vehicle for school. I don't even think he's been there to talk to any advisors yet.
Anyway, this morning my girlfriend texts me saying that she has to go over to her brother's house at noon to go pick up a rug doctor because he apparently got so drunk last night that when he came home he vomited all over the living room. Nice example to set for two young girls.
I don't even think I could ask my brother to do that for me much less me being able to help brother if he did that.
We really need an in-laws bashing thread.Last edited by Fresh Tendrils; 04-15-2014, 09:04 AM.

Re: Off Topic 2014
I completely agree about the new thread idea. My wife has 5 brothers and 1 sister. She is the youngest, yet most mature and successful. They constantly try to take advantage of her and make her feel guilty for different things...
She has 2 brothers (ages 40 and 50 I believe) that don't work and still live at home. One is a drunk and is always being arrested. The other is a heroin user. Talk about a conflict with my job... And they live in the city I work in...
Absolutely refuse to take my daughter to that house to see her grandma (wife's mother). Makes me sick to think of the danger she could be in...

Re: Off Topic 2014
Yeah, my fiancé is basically the Mom of her siblings and at times the only sane influence in their immediate family. Well, their dad is too, but he's in too deep. He's been neutered...
Sucks to see her have to bear that weight, especially since I come from an immediate family of mostly men where we didn't have too much drama. Yeah my brothers have gone through their trials and tribulations but it was once in a while, with her family it's a new drama everyday. It's tiring, it's hard to give a damn when there's constantly a problem. Not so easy for my fiancé to brush it off, though. She's broken down to me on many occasions, but I can play the support role. I've gradually come to speak my mind more on her family and she agrees but knows no matter what family does, it's next to impossible to ignore them. She just knows to keep them at arm's length.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Anyone know how to remove scratches from eyeglasses? Google suggested toothpaste but it didn't work. My prescription is expired and I don't want to go through the exam again and buy more frames, was hoping to make these last a couple more years.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment
