Season 2's abrupt ending is another knock against it. Glad they touched on it in the season 3 opening, but hated that it went off like that in the first place. It also plays the biggest role in the huge time jump as well.
I understand why the time jump happened since season 2 was cut short with the writer's strike. I just hate how the "in-between" stuff is just glossed over in 2 minutes and undoes a couple of major storylines and resolutions from season 2. Apart from the actual football stuff, which really wasn't a focal point much at all, I felt season 2 left off with most storylines resolved apart from Julie Taylor's ongoing ""overly-dramatic, want to slap in the face despite having legitimate complaints" stuff.

I can see why some will say AC is overrated because that game was ripe for hype.

But its not like Batman's video game library sucks. Lego Batman came out the year before AA and was probably the best game before AA released. Before that, though, yeah. I have always enjoyed Batman: Vengeance because it has been the closest thing to actually playing an Animated Series episode. Rise of Sin Tzu was fun, but a pretty basic brawler. Everything else is a mix-bag. Still, he's nowhere near Superman's level of hot garbage gaming.

So.. American Airlines is covering the cost of my flight home. I'm leaving this afternoon to Dallas and then from Dallas to Birmingham.

Total cost from Chicago -> Dallas -> Bham -> Dallas -> Tokyo -> Sasebo is $1400 for the Navy.. I would have had to pay for the re route to Birmingham.

So is this Heartbleed OpenSSL bug as bad as some people are making it out to be? Outside of it being a trending topic on Facebook I haven't seen anything else about it in the news.

Good article. I'm still on the fence about changing some of my passwords to big sites that use SSL, want to see if it's needed or it's fixed first.

I'd change them. Better safe than sorry.

So were some sites affected for a short while and just aren't vulnerable now (according to that list that was published)?

It makes it seem like Amazon, PayPal, and most of the sites that people would put in CC information weren't affected.

"And even once those sites have patched up the actual OpenSSL hole, the problem is far from solved. Sites also have to perform the internet equivalent of changing their cryptographic locks. Even then, any data that attackers may have managed to stash before then is still vulnerable, and it always will be.
                            ...
But still, it's a potentially unprecedented breach though we'll never actually know how many sites got attacked.

In the meantime, there's not much you can do besides avoiding affected sites until they're fixed, and changing your passwords after the fact. You can also put on a tinfoil hat, but sometimes the best solution is just a close eye on your credit card statement."

No. There's no bug from XP no longer being supported.
