I loved how in those ncaa games you had to take tests and balance studying with socializing and practice each night in RTG. Couldn't you also pick a major? And the home menu was a dorm. That was ****ing sick.

I swear Washington has an abnormal amount of random/strange things that happen in high school sports. Former major league player's daughter starts for her high school's baseball team as a freshman, pitcher for a team throws 194 pitches in a 14 inning game. Also has Sportscenter's Not Top 10 play of the week for like 2+ months.

I've got a slightly beat up (door spring is broken) but still functional PS2 slim that I could trade in at Gamestop because the controller has a loose part in it (though it still works) and they will only take a system if it has a good controller with it. Also have a copy of GTA:San Andreas that I couldn't trade in because it is an original run and thus Hot Coffee Mod capable. They've just been sitting on my bookshelf collecting dust for a few years now.

Still have the SNES in the other room here and I'm not even sure whatever did happen to the Sega we used to have.
Doh. I think my sister has our old NES and maybe the Genesis too as my nephew played them. I game my original PlayStation to my cousin back in 2001 after I got a PS2 and I have no idea if he still has it. My old Atari 7800 is in a box somewhere in my mom's basement, though the paddle controllers are broken. Presumably 2 game gears (mine and my sister's) a Game Boy, a Game Boy color, and my Sega Nomad are also buried somewhere in my mom's basement as well having been packed away when she moved.

The gameplay holds up well. I don't know if that's the greatness of those games or the shortcomings of today's. But the graphics, especially on HDTV's, are hard to look at.

I just want Madden 07 for the classic teams. Last time I had it, I had every team named except the 58 Colts and Giants. And I had to leave those 2 out because my memory card (lol, amirite?) had run out of space.

I've still got my Sega Genesis intact with (almost) all the games I got it with. Of course, I did get it second-hand, but still.

Man, we had 2 NES, a Genesis with Sega CD and 32X attachment, SNES (we got this many years later) maaaad games. But I didn't take any of that stuff when I moved out so who knows where it is.

I think I threw out a bunch of NES and Genesis cartridges. You can play all those games on emulators on your phone, but for nostalgia's sake, that was probably a bad idea.

I don't know what we ever did with the Dreamcast. I used to be real stupid with video games and any money I stumbled upon, probably traded it in for some game like a dummy. That console will forever be a gem lost in the sauce. It pioneered so much, just legitimately ahead of it's time by about half a decade.

I still have all my game systems throughout the years, including my Atari 2600 (River Raid anyone?)

Not all are hooked up at the moment, but I still have a majority of the games. The NES got hooked up shortly after I got married because my wife loves to play Mario and Zelda. She is on a quest to defeat every Super Mario Bros game ever created.

Our daughter just inherited my PS3 and is having a blast with it.

You know what they say, a family that plays video games together stays together.
