The dad was getting his hair cut and the two kids where hopping up and down on the unused barber chair, taking a ungodly amount of suckers from the bowl of free suckers, etc. and the mom spent all of her time staring at her phone.

They don't have them at the place I go to. Most dudes get their quick fade or whatever it may be on base, but I go out to the Ginza to get mine cut.

It's 5$ more, but it's well worth it for the quality. A medium fade isn't even a difficult concept, but these people on base have their good days and bad days and I'm not always willing to take that chance.

Wait, white people get fades? I've never heard any of my white friends refer to their haircut as a fade. We signal in a fade route by mimicking cutting your hair and my white players struggled the most with this signal at first.

Yeahh I always go for a medium fade, sometimes a little lower.

Usually 5 to 0.

I never had my hair cut short, but now I can't see myself any other way.

Now on the subject of barbershops, I never ever in my life been to one that gave out free suckers or suckers period. All my barbershops I grew up going to consisted of the following:

1. Couple of old guys who sit in there all day just talking about random things.

2. A tv on the wall with Soul Train on, until college football kick off started or some bootleg movie was playing.

3. People walking in there with duffle bag full of bootleg movies, socks, cologne oils, watches and scub caps for sale.

4. A woman walking in there who was dating the owner or just a side chick of the owner coming up in there with plates of collard greens, corn bread, mac n cheese, wings or ribs. And you knew as soon as she opened the door 2 of the barbers, usually the most senior ones was going on lunch break immediately and would sit down in the chair and eat.

5. A back room with a fridge full of crown royal, moonshine, beer and Tabb.

I use to get fades when I was younger.

And than I grew up.

Lol, just kidding. I use to get fades and than when I started playing football, I just started taking a 2 through it. Every couple years I grow it out to donate it and than keep it at a 2 for months after.

Yeah dude it's always a gamble when going to the nex to get your haircut. Go in there asking for a medium fade, leave with a high n tight lol.

It is all about the bald fade.. I still remember to this day, I had a guy in my unit who was a high and tight nut. His over excitement for that hair style disturbed me greatly.
