Anyone have any idea what kind of credit limit Best Buy puts out on their cards?

When I worked there I usually wouldn't see anything higher than $4k, with the average about $1000. But they've changed banks since then. I think they use Capital One now.

Holding off on FIFI 14 is tough. No sense in adding another sports game as I just purchased Madden and NHL recently. Plus, the plan is to treat myself to an XB1 for Christmas. Will want a sports title on there and FIFA 15 will likely fill that spot. Being a new EPL and soccer fan in general does make the wait that much harder. I actually know who some of the players are now!

Only non-sports games I wild consider buying annually are Gears of War and GTA. Even then the last Gears sucked and GTA would lose it's luster if released yearly. So who knows how long I would keep buying them.

The Show is the only game I will go out to buy each year without much thought. NCAA Football was another, but Madden could become just that if the series continues to improve at the rate it is now.

I went to every other year for sports games. Haven't looked back. Although I quit playing madden around 07 or 08 and I missed NBA 2k in 13 AND 14. So I'm looking forward to NBA 2k alot this year.

I haven't played FIFA since the Gamecube days. In more pressing news I just killed a hornet so big it broke the flyswatter! Had to squash with shoe just to be safe

Used to get NCAA Football every year. Haven't gotten NHL in a couple years, though planning to pick 15 up in a week or so, around the time the regular season starts. Haven't had any real desire to play Madden in a number of years. Always get the newest NASCAR game too though Eutechnyx hasn't been releasing them quite yearly.

Went back to get my phone and ended up getting a $25 BB gift card on top of it because my aunt needed a new phone and I referred her there. So that's probably going towards the FIFA or NBA fund.

I wish I was into soccer and hockey more so I could enjoy the games. I play for about a month, realize how awful I am and how much I don't understand, then get rid of them.

So looks like I do get to go stay in Dryden for the next 3 or 4 months. I asked last night and the store manager came in this morning and said I'm good to go. I just have to wait for this next batch of new hires to get started here and I'll be gone in a couple weeks. I'll be helping them set up their new Walmart Supercenter out there. Should be interesting.

That's actually what made me ask. I check it regularly and figured I should start trying to raise it. I got an 'F' for accounts, but that has a low affect according to CK.

If you're trying to improve credit don't use best buy since they typically have an high interest rate . A reason why you don't get a better score when you pay off your credit cards every month is because banks are not making money off of you since you are paying off a balance and they aren't making money from interest so why loan your more money right?

If you can apply and get a special interest rate from an airlines credit card, you can buy whatever you want from best buy and rack up free miles while you improve your credit score.

If you get a special rate like 10-12% for the first year, then pay off the cc within the year. I also got a small bank loan to do home improvements and payed that off within 8 months. My score rocketed after that.

Then use your airlines card to pay your normal bills every month including food. Pay it off every month like you been doing and rack up free miles with the money you would have spent normally anyway. I haven't payed for an airlines ticket for over 5 years.

So, the LSU game last night was a blowout. I don't know how many of you have been in a student section of a big stadium when your team is blowing out a team, but it's pretty fun.

We had a guy from Ireland drunk of rum (redundant, I know) watching his first football game EVER and he loved it. Favorite part were the cheers and the marching bands. And the ladies in sundresses. Smoothest mother****er ever. He hit on my lady friend and I honestly wasn't mad. I should have taken notes from this guy. That dude was awesome, passing his flask of rum around and teaching us Irish drinking songs.

And then at halftime, this asian kid drunk off beer showed up. And I mean this poor guy could not handle his beer in the least. I've seen my fair share of drunk asses at LSU, but this kid was THE most drunk guy I think I've seen. We bought him a water and hot dog to help him sober up, only to have him eat half the hot dog, drop it, take half a swig from the liter of water and spit it in the air, all over us.

So after that, the Irish dude (Halle, "like Halle Berry only prettier") is now taking care of "Chi" (we later find out his real name is David), force feeding him and making him sit down. Halle turns his back for a second and Chi sprints away. Once we realize he's missing one of the girls in the group says she remembers him saying something about going to talk to his crush. We track "Chi" down, and bring him back.

Chi went up to this girl, who has NO idea who this kid is, and asked her to take off her shirt and give it to him because his is wet (y'know, from the spit out water). Here's the best part: while he's hitting on her, the girl's boyfriend is sitting right besides her and laughing his *** off. Kid was straight hitting on a girl asking her to take her clothes off in front of her man. And in all honesty, I'm surprised he didn't whip his dick out on site.

I wish I knew his last name so I could track him down and see what level of hell is hangover is currently in. Praying for you kid.
