Kmart was hacked? Is there really any thing to be gained from hacking Kmart?
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Maybe the hackers want the blue light special?

There is a KMart in a town about 45 minutes from where I grew up and there were almost always rumblings about it closing/going out of business/what have you. This has been going on for about 8 years. Still kicking. I don't think I've ever seen more than 10 cars in their parking lot at any given time... but somehow, some way, that dang store is still open.

There were two within 5 miles of where I live. One of them closed down in January 2013. That one was the same way as the one you described for about 7-8 years. Now it's a Hobby Lobby and a Big Lots.

The other one is a bit more busy, but still has nothing on Fred Meyer, Target, Wal-Mart, etc.

We have a KMart here. It's total ****. Run down and it just looks sketchy. No idea how the 2 Walmart Supercenters, 3 Shopkos, and Target haven't managed to kill it off yet.

The only thing I can say about KMart is they have always had great deals on games, even if the selection is small.

Kmarts out in Vermont basically killed their Electronic's department off last summer, so have all the local regular Walmarts. Kmart parking lot stay packed out here though, but then again, there isn't a variety of stores to chose from here. From what I see, most of Kmart shoppers are moms who buy their kids clothes there along with baby clothes and pampers.

Now I was in New Hampshire a couple of days ago, they have a Big K out there that have a Little Casear inside of it. Little Casear was packed, the rest of Big K only had female customers in the baby department and women clothes. I would say 98% of that store was empty.

So other then clothes for kids, pampers, and women clothes I don't see anything else people buy from there.Well I take that back, people buy their fake Christmas trees and decorations there, along with Halloween costumes. I use to buy my games from there when they had $20 off coupon deals, but last summer up here anyway they killed off their electronics department.

I would say Kmart hit it's prime in the late 1980s and the 1st half of the 1990s. Kmart actually put Ventures, Montgomery Wards and Zaires out of business back in the day. But when 2000 hit and Super Walmarts started making their march across the nation, Kmart fell off big time.

I am surprised Sears is still around too. Considering Home Depots, Lowes and Menards are killing them. Die hard customers I suppose.

It's been a long ****ing day. 3 hours of sleep and 12+ hours of work. I'm going to crash pretty early tonight.

Went out last night and hit up a few bars with some of my friends here.

Almost hooked up with a really cute Japanese girl, she came back to base with me. Then her morals got the best of her and she said she wanted to date me first. I said okay we can do that.

So now I'm going out with her next week, schedule permitting. We're going to Korea soon. My school in Virginia was cancelled. They won't let us fly out because of this ****ing typhoon.

Just so much going on right now and I'm still trying to route my leave request and come home during New Years. I wish I could slow my life down a little. I'm jumping through hoops just for any kind of fun and enjoyment.

I'm getting up at 4am to watch the Auburn game tomorrow.

They won't stop until we make institutional changes to how we handle and store credit card data. Thankfully there's some reform coming with the new chip and pin cards next year. We've done this to ourselves by using technology from the 1950s. I'm amazed that it's taken this long.

It always bugs me out when there's current players in-studio as analysts. Ryan Clark for ESPN, I think Brandon Marshall does some stuff for NFL Network. It's strange I haven't seen it before maybe the past year or two.

Wednesday I went to Sears in the Largest commercial mall in my area; and it was just about empty. It was like walking through a Ghost town, there was one person in the TV, electronics area but no one in appliances, kitchen, appliances, bedding. Very few employees as well and they all had very grim looks on their faces like they were counting down the minutes until they clocked out.

Could have been that it was Wednesday evening, but I doubt it's much different on the Weekends anyway.
