He has a tremendous singing voice, I can understand not getting into Alexisonfire because I didn't like them at first either, I was still in the early stages of music advancement and the screamer annoyed me. Over time they actually became one of my favorite post-hardcore style bands. He would sing common lyrics in this dramatic style, it was enthralling. Pretty funny now when you consider I get into deathcore stuff lol.

quick edit (better than the standard edit): I just had deja vu bringing me back to the 6 disc rotation I lived by about 10 years ago. Alexisonfire (S/T), As I Lay Dying (Frail Words Collapse), Atreyu (Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses), From Autumn to Ashes (Too Bad You're Beautiful), Funeral For a Friend (Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation), and Bleeding Through (This is Love, This is Murderous). Bleeding Through helped lead my progression toward more heavy stuff, and this edit didn't end up being quick at all

Some of AO's stuff is realllly good, best of the genre. Other not so much. Crisis and Watch Out! are great.

I find it funny that Green is so popular coming from the genre he did. It's great though.

I just threw my Alexisonfire CD in yesterday. Loved them.

lol, I went shopping for some stuff today and while getting things, there was some random guy(likely on commission) going around trying to force sell some item on people(you could tell those people were trying their best to stop talking to him without seeming mean). By time he got to me, he started talking and acting like he was interested in the stuff I was actually buying, and before he could even begin to sell me on the thing he was selling, I just gave him some quick evil stare, and he just backed away and left.

Lesson learned lol. If you don't want these commission salespeople bothering you/trying to sell you stuff you have no interest in,just give these commission sales people some real evil look when they're trying to sell you on something, and they'd leave right away.

House inspection could work out in your favor. If there are things that need to be fixed/replaced, then the sellers usually take care of it. Either pay for it upfront or pay more towards closing costs.

When we moved 5 years ago, the sellers had to replace the water heater and pay for termite extermination. There were some odds and ends stuff that they took care of. Then again though, the sellers were good people and really motivated to move.

I'm thinking I'm going to have to reverse my cutting of the cable cord. I need to at least get Root Sports NW, so I can watch Timbers/Blazers games. This sucks, I'd much rather not have to do that but I can't go to bars to watch games all the time.

CenturyLink is offering 1GB internet connections in select locations out here. We're moving soon, so I'm trying to get us to a place where we can get it, then I can get rid of TV and go with streaming.

The only thing I worry about is sports, but I feel like there are enough ways to find it online and be able to watch.

We cut our cord about 5 years ago and this is the one thing me miss and can't stand. But not enough to go back to paying for cable.

I don't think I could ever just rely on streaming stuff for TV-watching. Nothing replaces turning on the TV, being able to just switch channels automatically without waiting for **** to load or having connection problems, live sports and other events, etc. With MLBTV and other supposedly-live stuff you're always 30 seconds, 1 minute behind and beholden to any issues they may be having. More often than not there's some stupid issue that prevents me from doing what I want the way I want. If someone tells me to put the game on, I can just put the damn channel number in instead of having to click here, wait there, navigate there, and by the time you're in, it's long gone.

There's just no substitute. It's so much easier and way less headache. Until I can get every channel I watch truly live and in perfect quality always and I can just press channel up or channel down or type in a number to go there, I'll have TV service.

That said, my Roku and Plex and such get plenty of use.

                            Korean BBQ is legit.

Had a double in my one at bat in a softball game between US Navy and Korean Navy. They were really awesome and hospitable.

Found a lady on the side of the street selling things. She had Auburn beanies. I bought one of course. I thought it was random.

Also discovered the best thing you can find for 30000 won that doesn't involve a barbershop. A ****ing blanket. I don't even care that it's a Spider-Man blanket. It is the absolute softest thing. As some fiends back would say (quote) " it's like a silk bag of puppy ears".

Honestly it wasn't that much fun. 6 hours of liberty for 12 days of work and 10 of them at sea.. Not worth it. Had to anchor for a few storms.. **** was tossing our small *** ship. Dudes were sea sick everywhere.

We are on the hook, staring at freedom right now because port ops doesn't work weekend and they don't want to pay the OT. Freedom has to wait until tomorrow .
