I really just think diet and exercise works. Diet = limit calorie intake to an amount that doesn't exceed your amount of calories burned that day.
I've been able to sneak in a few cheats and still lose weight. The key is I don't binge on those cheats. I make sure they are moderate in size and I keep up my workout regiment the next day.
12 lbs in 2 weeks is cool...but not sustainable. 1-2 lbs/week is ideal and a change in lifestyle could net you these results.
Partly you could go to a doctor to learn your metabolism and ideal calories in and out, but still just basic.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

You can/should only do "real" cheat days if your regimen on a whole is top notch IMO.
Both your diet and your physical fitness routine.
Everyone is different ....but I do "burn days".
Basically I drop my caloric intake by quite a bit for two or three days(three is tough)...while upping my workouts. It's not possible to do it for an extended time...but it's a good way to drop down a few pounds.....and possibly add on reps or sets(I try to keep those on when I go back to regular eating...and not let those pounds sneak back on unless they are muscle)
