Funny that this thread popped up. I just got a new wallet. Retiring the black leather wallet.

I got an RFID wallet. You can youtube RFID wallets as they block people illegally scanning your credit cards. People can just walk up to you, not even touch you and be able to swipe your credit card info just by putting a device reader next to you.

I carry credit cards (more than I probably should). I hate carrying anything more than $40 in cash on me.

Here's a pic of the RFID wallet I got. Haven't cleaned out my leather wallet yet but I'll see how this works. It's a little slick-feeling so I hope that's not a problem.

That N wallet is crazy. I looked at their other styles and the X wallet looks good but I wonder how that band would hold up. Once it loses it elasticity you would think the cards could just fall out. One positive is they are inexpensive, so trying one out is not going to hurt your check book.

I actually have a Coach money clip.

I made a comment to my wife one day asking how could one person spend so much on something such as a purse, since they're all the same.. so then she gave me this.



It's been the only wallet that has held up for me for over a year.

This is more my style but not sure if I can justify the price tag ($80 Cognac Dublin Leather). I'm really starting to lean towards this one, but the only thing that makes me leary is how will I like the money clip in middle. Basically when you open wallet everyone is welcome to see how much cash you are carrying. Not sure how I feel about that.

Is buying an expensive wallet really worth it? I've had cheap ones ever since I can remember but I've never had any complaints with them. Is it more of a longevity thing?

I'll say it like this, the cost means absolutely nothing. Truthfully the cheaper the better of course, now with that said I do believe you get what you pay for most of the time. Now my last two wallets were cheap $20 dollar Dillard's wallets and they survived since I was in highschool, so close to 15 years or more.

My current wallet the credit card sleeves have tore and it's time for a new one. So I'm trying to find one that has all the things I want, considering I'll most likely be with it for a decade. So I don't mind spending little more if you consider how long a wallet lasts.
