    Re: Ebola

These are tweets from cameraman Ashoka Mukpo who contracted Ebola and has since beaten it and is clear......but makes you think a bit....

"For the record - no idea how I got it. It was something fluky. My best guess is I touched a surface and didn't chlorinate fast enough."

"Thought I was keeping a good distance, wish I knew exactly what went wrong."

Also...a Dr. in Manhattan who recently was in Africa is being tested.
    103.7 fever and abdominal pain.
He said he self-quarantined when he began to feel sick ...but there is a report he took a taxi to go bowling a couple of days ago.

Hopefully it's "just" malaria or something else.

That's not supposed to be humorous at all, that is scary as hell. If anything his fingers touch can potentially spread to others and if he is contracted, then that would be the true start of the outbreak.

Sorry....I thought you were saying "the biggest recreational.......".....meaning nobody bowls any longer.....so it wasn't a big deal.
            My bad.

Man....I hope that bowling alley has completely cleaned all those balls or maybe even destroyed them, just to be on the safe side.

                Confirmed.

This ****er went on public transportation and bowling alleys with a spiked fever?! And he's supposed to be a ****ing DOCTOR?!

Even as the authorities worked to confirm that Mr. Spencer was infected with Ebola, it emerged that he traveled from Manhattan to Brooklyn on the subway on Wednesday night, when he went to a bowling alley and then took a taxi home.

Look.....I'm going to go out there and say if you are a professional .....and are putting yourself out there to work on Ebola patients......great....but stay professional and make sure you're good to go before going out to public places.

                      Re: Ebola

On that note, there are just a few too many doctors who have been treating Ebola patients that are now infected. This is concerning, and I'm sure these doctors are now working in fear.

However, at the same time that very paranoia should probably keep you away from public places for some time, and should really keep you on edge about things like a fever.

Like I said, this is very worrisome. I sure hope the bowling balls he used weren't really shared among others.

I don't understand how these professionals can be so concerned for themselves when they're treating Ebola patients then when they're back home they get the symptoms and go OUT?!

Don't these people have common sense?!

I mean don't you see overweight doctors and people who work at health facilities? You would think they would want to take better care of their bodies seeing all these people come in with health issues.

There's a lot of that lacking in this country these days.

We have a travel ban in place.... we don't have this headline. But apparently ALLOWING people to travel makes it easier for us to trace them.

                              That's just great.

A travel ban is not enough. Anyone coming from affected countries shouldn't be allowed to board a plane with a final stop in the United States.
