 Re: Ebola

As someone said it's not airborne now but it could mutate. There's a reason why this thing is just ripping across Africa.

As long as it doesn't mutate and no one else contracts it we'll be ok but as I said in my first post, i'm still very leery. Couldn't they have taken those two Americans to a military base in Europe or something instead?Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

 Re: Ebola

Is it really "ripping across Africa though"? There are 1.1 billion people in Africa and only a thousand have died from Ebola. As someone said it's not airborne now but it could mutate. There's a reason why this thing is just ripping across Africa.

There was also a recent story about a possibly traveler returning from W. Africa who ended up in Mt. Sinai Hospital and was being tested for it.

 Re: Ebola

I just think that these people were highly trained professionals and ended up with it (I know they were working under difference circumstances) but who's to say another mistake cannot be made and this stuff spread.

 Re: Ebola

First confirmed case in the US yesterday, in Dallas. They're now looking for anyone that came in contact with the patient; the number is up to 100 as of now. Family has been told to stay in their home until Oct. 19.

Reminds me of the movie Outbreak. I have my thoughts but I know they'd violate the TOS. So I'll hold them.Comment
