The last sports game I bought was MLB the Show for the PS4. I am itching for something new but I am wondering what the consensus is on the best sports game that has been released since the release of The Show.

FIFA is awesome. So is 2K15 and even Madden is good. Can't really go wrong with any of them.MLB: Texas Rangers

NBA: Dallas Mavericks

I'm not sure if you'll get a consensus or not, but I would say FIFA.
Are we talking about release dates ? If not, FIFA is better than The Show to a non-baseball enthusiast such as myself.
Madden's second attempt on the current gen is pretty damn good, FIFA 15 plays really well and is a lot of fun, 2K is better than ever, and The Show is it's consistent and beautiful self. NHL looks pretty good, but it lacks some substance and a few game modes. I think they'll get it right with NHL '16.
I've been itching for some NCAA so bad lately. I just wish they could overcome hurdles and obstacles and get us a new game. I would settle for a port to PS4/X1.. '14 is a great game.
Sports games as a whole are thriving right now IMO. I just hate the lack of free time I have to play them all. Some people are just too spoiled and drunk on nostalgia to appreciate.Last edited by AUChase; 10-28-2014, 07:46 AM.Comment

Thanks Fellas... looks like FIFA is my next purchase. Really wish NHL wasn't so stripped down because hockey is my favorite sport but I just can't justify paying full price for a tech demo.Comment

Madden's good too...but yeah, I'm interested in Fifa eventually as well.

The Show gets my top 3 votes. Then Fifa and Madden are both pretty good on this gen. Madden is a very nice step up from the last generation and I am actually about to complete a season in Madden already for the first time in awhile.
