Re: Christmas 2014
Went to Gatlinburg, TN for the weekend to check out the wine trail. The Christmas lights were amazing and just a cool place to be during the holidays. If you ever get a chance, I would recommend taking a trip there with just the two of you or with the kids.Comment

Re: Christmas 2014
My wife and I sit down and do a couple Christmas puzzles each year. Fun activity together that we do while watching Christmas movies. Here are the two that we did this year.
The tree one we did because we're heading to NYC this week. The other one is the 12 Days of Christmas, it was a lot of fun and unique because a lot of the puzzle pieces were all kinds of weird shapes like cats, dogs, turtles, etc.

Re: Christmas 2014
My parents plan a trip (from So. Cal) every December to go back to Gatlinburg. They absolutely love that town during the holidays. Really cool place all year but especially during the holiday season.

Re: Christmas 2014
They guys in this thread, have some beautiful homes and are decorated immaculately.
The puzzles are awesome, but I'm not patient enough to do that. My wife and I are doing the Christmas Lego sets. Last year was the ski lodge, this year is Santa's work shop.
You can tell certain people live in warm climates when they have lights surrounding their driveways. If I did that the snow blower or just me shovelling would destroy them.

Re: Christmas 2014
I finished my shopping for my wife's stocking today. I love the shopping aspect of it, hate the waiting in line to pay. I got stuck behind two ladies buying 7 bags of milk. Who needs that much milk??? And...debit cards are not a new technology, it should not take that many attempts to use it. Grrrrrr! People are trying to pull me out of my Christmas spirit!!!I am the lesson after the fall.Comment

That's the exact reason I don't buy any of that stuff. Same with inflatables. I know they're just going to get buried.Comment
