Our family got a great present this year. My cousin and his wife are expecting in June. It'll be the newest baby in the family since... Well, me, nearly 27 years ago. It's pretty awesome.

Christmas isn't officially over until tomorrow for my wife and I. Off to NE Iowa to see my parents.

        No snow up there either.

Flight from Richmond to Atlanta was delayed just enough so that it would be impossible to catch the last flight to Portland for the day. Fortunately, Delta rescheduled us. Tomorrow, at 6 am Eastern, we'll be getting on a plane. First to Detroit, then to Seattle, then to Portland.

That's awesome. I would love to spend one Christmas in the snow.

We get snow down here in Texas like once every 20 years.

Last time it was snowing around Christmas time in VA we were driving through slush and snow trying to get to the airport to fly back to Oregon. I'm pretty good with white Christmases at this point and would prefer sunny ones.

We typically get snow up here in Maine on Christmas, but this year, it decided to be 50 degrees and it rained all day. Oh well, still an awesome Christmas!

Kinda hitting a mild case of post Christmas depression. Not really a depression, but since I was a kid, Christmas has always meant a lot to me, and especially now since I have two young children of my own. The look on their faces Christmas morning when they saw their new bikes was worth every penny we spent this year.

I made out quite well also. Got a ton of Blu Ray's (X-Men DOFP, Godzilla, Edge of Tomorrow, Star Wars IV-VI, Guardians, and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) along with some battle ropes for my training, $50 to Amazon, and other odds and ends that I wanted.

                    It was a great Christmas!

Christmas was great here also. I am off until Tuesday ( last day I worked was Monday ) so that is good. The wife and I were out today and I picked up a new logitech wireless laser mouse, she bought one as well as the one she uses with her laptop was on is last legs. I also bought Strat hockey on the PC this morning with some Christmas cash. Might buy a couple other seasons as well.

Ashleigh watched as my brother and I turned into six year olds when I opened up my Simpson's Lego set. He came across the room to flip the box over, tilt it back, and look at everything it featured. Probably the best Christmas moment for me this year.

Just made it home to Portland. Had a really tight scrape in Minneapolis (after being rebooked again) where we couldn't get to the gate because of snow. Barely made it onto the plane to PDX, but I got to put my feet back on that carpet. Now... how should I spend the rest of my company paid holiday break (I go back to work on the 5th)?

My dad is one of those people who never wants/needs anything for Christmas. He's nearly impossible to buy for, so a few years ago we just started giving him gift cards.

Browsing Amazon a few weeks before Christmas, I came across a Georgia Tech blanket. Since my dad likes to lay on the floor with his dogs and watch TV, I figured I'd roll the dice and get him the blanket.

I went to my parents Christmas day and took my mom out to a movie after dinner. When we came home, my dad was asleep on the floor - wrapped up in the blanket. I think I did well this year.

January 2nd and we just celebrated Christmas with my wife's sister. They got me a Tommie Copper compression shirt. I experience cronic pain in my back and my legs, now here's my question...do any of you guys have any experience with this stuff? I want to get the socks, compression shorts and elbow sleeve, and I'm hoping to get some pain relief with this stuff. Even if it helps with recovery pain. My body is a mess, but I lift, do daily physiotherapy, which also includes boxing and golfing. I'm just wondering if any of you guys use it and like it!

                                Any help would be great
