A nice shirt, tie, and khakis will suffice for a wedding.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2015
Sure, a suit it looks nicer but if you're invited last-minute? Just throw on a button-down shirt and some pants and you'll be fine.Comment

Thats what I thought this whole time.
But my lady looked up the venue and its at the Ritz Carlton and by the pics it looks to be really fancy. Its also adults only I believe.

Re: Off Topic 2015
Well, that's a bit different. But honestly, you can still probably pull off the business casual look if that's your only option. As long as the outfit looks well put together, you shouldn't get too many looks.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2015
I've known about it for a while.
Just thought I was good with what I had. When I used to go out more, I would bust out the dress pants, button down shirt, dress shoes and a vest. So I thought I would be good with that.
Then I saw the venue. Then I youtubed videos about wedding attire and how a suit should fit and be tailored.
Thats when I started freaking out. LolComment

Re: Off Topic 2015
Any suggestions on where to get one? Ideally somewhere that doesn't hurt the wallet.
And is it possible to have it tailored and be ready by tomorrow? Pretty much every YouTube video made a big deal about tailoring. One even went so far as to say you'll look stupid without having it done.
Or can I get by without it?
Completely new to this whole "suit" thing.Comment

Edit: and if you're super worried about having a suit, find a jos.a.bank or department store that's still open. Suits aren't usually cheap, but a tailored suit is never cheap.Last edited by Bmore Irish; 06-05-2015, 08:25 PM.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2015
I mean a tailored suit is definitely nice, but there's no way you're getting one by tomorrow. Idk what the connection is between you and the person getting married, but if anyone would seriously give you a hard time for not having a tailored suit, they're a prick.

If you already have a shirt with a vest, all you need is a nice jacket to go with it and you're fine.
Honestly, no one will give a **** about the suit if you can bring it on the dance floor.Comment
