Re: Off Topic 2015
Shoot, shark summer already started a while ago. Been an unusual number of attacks and sightings along the east coast. A handful of attacks already off of North Carolina. Along Maryland they spotted and pulled in a great white they had tagged before. 16' 3500+ lbs and it was swimming in the Ocean City bay and up and down the shore. Just last week a hammerhead washed up and died, and apparently had just had pups. Then a few days later, they had to clear the beach because a big hammerhead was swimming real close along the shore.Comment

A lot of my friends did the whole bank teller thing. It's decent money and gives you a bit more of a "professional" experience than Target would. Sometimes they even offer tuition reimbursement if you work more than x hours a week.----------------------

I saw that Hammerhead washed up in OC... crazy. I didn't think Hammerheads were around like that but it has been an usual summer.
When I go down, I think I may just stick to the bars... lol
Y'all saw where two kids for their arms bitten off within an hour and a half of each other on the same beach. That would scar me for life as an observer.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

I'll be in Ocean City the first week of August, and my girlfriend already said she's staying out of the water lol. I'll probably get in a bit, but I'm just as content to chill on the beach with a drink in my hand.
I know whenever I'm in the ocean that sharks are around and you just don't see them, but it's crazy how visible and prominent they've been so far this year.

Yeah, and they're getting people in shallow, waist deep water too.
Personally, never liked going too far out in the ocean anyway. Beaches around here suck these days anyway, waves crash right on the beach. Remember growing up you could swim out forever, hit a sandbar, and then catch some good waves beyond that. Unless nostalgia is getting the best of me.
They thought those two attacks were the same shark, too. That's nuts.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

I worked 40 hours a week (from 4:30 pm to 3:00 am Monday-Thursday) at a VF Distribution Center. I started out loading trucks for 5.50/hr and eventually worked my way into a production job where I could make as much as 18 and hour, but averaged closer to 12-13. I tried to only take 8:00 am classes on Monday and Wednesday that way I really only had one tough day a week. On Tuesday and Thursday I would only take classes that started after 11:00.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Yep, that's a couple of the attacks I was talking about in North Carolina. They've had at least two or three more in these past few weeks.

I remember when I was like 10, my family went on vacation in Florida for the first time. My dad was petrified of a shark attack. My mom had lived in Florida for like 20 years and said she had never once seen a shark.
Needless to say my dad saw a fin in the water and freaked out. Told a lifeguard, and the lifeguard confirmed it was a shark lol.
No attack or anything but my mom was so pissed.
Not sure exactly when this was, but it was that year that they got hit by Hurricane Francis and two others. We arrived in Florida right after the first hurricane, had Francis hit while we were there. Drove up to Disney World and had the whole park to ourselves. And then we flew back home the day before the third hurricane. Crazy trip lol
