I just thought be was making a joke post because I don't think those bulbs are meant for vacuuming the ear either. They're supposed to be used to flush and if you haven't cleaned your ears for 20 years, two or three attempts isn't gonna make a dent. That's like digging out the Sphinx in a day.

I had surgery on one of my ears about 10 years ago for something called surfers ear. It involved sticking a drill in my ear canal. So glad they opted to put me under for that. The dentist is bad enough for me.

Off Topic 2015

I've heard that about Q-tips before, but I wonder if it's just a usage issue. I don't jam the thing in my ear, but go in lightly and give it a spin. I will be more aggressive closer to the outside of my ear though, since I'm trying to rid the most visible area of any wax. Wax deep down in my ear can stay there until it's pushed out.

I try to clean my ears every couple of weeks. Having some wax is okay as I'm pretty sure it works to collect dirt from entering the eardrum. BurghFan, what say you?

Yea, there is right way and wrong way to use Q tips, however...

Your ears really do clean themselves. All you should have to do is wipe the wax from the outer ear. It is there for a reason. So not cleaning in 20 years, although a bit odd, is how it is supposed to work. Unless you have some sort of blockage or hearing problem, it's doing its job; protecting your inner ear. If you take that away, you may be hurting yourself.

Need some suggestions for great beard oils. Have looked just about everywhere and cant find any. Will have to go the online route, but wondering if anyone knows of any good ones.

I don't have a big beard and don't oil it, but I've actually heard good things about coconut oil from a guy I used to work with who had a glorious beard.

Weird... I had not either until about a week ago until one of my female friends told me her current boyfriend uses it and we proceeded to get into an hour long argument about whether it was a real thing.

I was the opposite when I Google searched the term "bald cream" while laughing at loud about it. Basically, when I was going with a shaved head I was wondering if there was something that would prevent a shiny cap look. Of course, I would love for it to have an SPF number as well...

Don't think I ever came across anything on a search engine that was what I intended to find.
