    Re: Off Topic 2015

I have the hardest time figuring out which girl is which sometimes.

Not that I'm scoring all over town or anything, but I've met multiple girls named Yuka, Hiromi, Natsuki, and Akane and they all have the same cartoon-like photo booth profile pictures. I'll get a message on FB or Line and I have to research who I'm talking to first before responding.

Is it the Yuka I'm trying to get it in with or just the Yuka that works at a local bar that I'm friends with ? Those are the types of questions I have to ask myself.

Easiest to remember is my friend Hunami. Only because I nicknamed her Hunami Tsunami and that's how she's saved in my Line contacts.

    The struggle is real.

Have a second interview in Beaverton today at 9 Pacific. I'm already here. I've got an hour and 15 minutes to wait.

Woot for poor estimates of traffic!

Good traffic on 217? Must have been on it before 8....because that thing is a parking lot from 8-10:30. I don't miss that stretch of road at all.

Weird question, but ever have a piece of music freak you out? Something about it seems "off", or gives you weird vibes. Things like the Forest Temple music from Ocarina of Time did it to me as a kid.

Looks like my car is going to be totaled. My grandfather has a really nice car on his lot that is probably in my price range, only problem is that it's s stick shift, and I've always been really freaked out about learning...afraid that I'd forget to shift/blow the transmission. Is it really that difficult to learn?

No. The hardest part is starting from a stopped position especially if on an incline.

Nope, I've taught many drivers (Including my daughter when she was 16) how to drive a stick with just a stretch of parking lot about as long asa football field and as wide as one lane.

Once you figure out the clutch it becomes second nature in no time. Usually takes just a few hours tops to get the basics down.

There are advanced techniques (Shifting without the clutch, balancing steep hills, etc...) too but you don't really need those to just drive.

It'll be my first Senior level gig, so I'll let you figure that one out.

Left at 7, got there about 30 minutes later.

Oh, and they offered me the job.

Oh well, BTW I slipped on the floor last night and landed right on my back. Boy did I pay for that when I woke up today.....

Not really, no. But I've been listening to death metal for well over 20 years so I'm desensitized to most anything.

If my sister can drive a manual vehicle flawlessly, anyone can.

for the first time in years, I had to call in/out of work due to illness. I hate this. Got the stomach bug. If I thought I could drive the 30 minutes to work with all the construction going on without having an accident in my pants, I would've gone.

Hate using my time off for being sick.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Learning to drive a stick should be part of the test to get your license.
