Isn't that the whole crux of comedy ultimately?

I agree Fallon has a shallow pool of talent, but what he does he does pretty well.

But more importantly Tenacious D needs new material.

I would say he's at least 50% dependent on women thinking he's cute to be funny. But yeah, he's not that funny on his own.

I'm just glad they stopped airing those annoying Iphone commercials with Fallon and Timberlake.

Off Topic 2015

The one thing I miss about school was having off random holidays like Cinco De Mayo.

I say that and in a 2 week span I'll only work 3 days.

Texas. I'm not sure if all of Texas does it but my school district always had May 5th off.

I used to get the day off when I lived in New Mexico.

I don't think they always gave the day off but when over have the school misses school because of the day it makes sense.

Not really because South Park is a satire. Completely different than what Fallon does. A better comparison would be a lot of the jokes on Family Guy. Playing on nostalgia. Not saying Fallon isn't funny sometimes, but it's not very original. It gets the viewers they need for The Tonight Show though, which Conan unfortunately couldn't draw.

Not necessarily. There are plenty of people who are funny all on their own.

There's a difference between comedic partners and relying on already-existing songs and shows and whatever to make up the only content of yours that's worth a damn.

The only time I seem to see Fallon's name is "OMG, did you see Jimmy Fallon and the Saved by the Bell skit?!" "OMG, did you see him and Jack White?!" and other similar stuff.

He's a coattail-rider.

The guy is completely devoid of comedic ability by himself. Which is fine, but I can't stand people acting like he and his show are God's gift. But hey, that's what people like nowadays.
