Would it taste better if I fed the lamb lavender, sage, and garlic salt for 17.36 days before the slaughter. What if I combed it's fur daily? Would that change the taste? Would it be better because it would lead a more confident life because of the way it looks? Or would it make the meat tough because it was constantly fighting off other jealous lambs? Do you think aliens could abduct the lamb and alter it's dna so it's future offspring taste like cool ranch Doritos? (I'm done, but I have to include parentheses to make this a legit parody post).

You need fewer punctuation marks on the whole: more of them being commas and fewer question marks.

Cool ranch Doritos lamb sounds mildly enticing.

Two week vacation to finally meet my girlfriend's family in Australia (and see my girlfriend for the first time in 5 months) has officially been approved by my bosses

Now I just need to get over my fear of flying across the oceans lol. Only time I've left the country (not counting Toronto/Niagara Falls since it's like a 3 hour drive from my house) was to go to Belize last year.

Edit: For background, we've been together over 3 years now and while I've met her parents and her sister (they live in Philly), I've never met any of her other relatives (who all still live in Australia).

You can do rack of lamb as well but cooking time is reduced quite a bit. I just don't do rack because it's expensive.

Oh man, that flight to Australia is so brutal. I believe it's over 20 hours from L.A. I would try to get hammered before getting on the flight or take some good sleeping pills. At least these international flights have good and new movies to choose from.

I love Australians, probably my most favorite people in the world, they are just good people. Also you'll have a kick at all the crazy insects and animals.

Yeah, flights to and from Australia through LAX were the roughest flights I've ever had to take. So little space for so much time. As someone that's 6'3", I don't have a lot of space on planes as it is, but then to be sat next to some larger people so I lean away for 20 hours? I think I got a single hour of sleep between the two flights.

There was literally nothing better when I got back than collapsing in my nice quiet bed and sleeping for hours and hours.

But Australia itself is a really fun place. I went to Townsville and Sydney, and heavily enjoyed both.

Yeah, I'm really psyched about actually seeing Australia, but I definitely prefer being on the ground rather than up in the air and the flight from LA to Australia is going to be hell for me, especially flying by myself. We're planning to basically hang out with her family for a week in Melbourne and then spend the other week exploring the rest of the country.

I'm really curious to see what her family is like. I know her grandparents moved to Australia from Italy when they were really young, but they never really learned how to speak English. They only know a few words here and there. Not sure how Italian the rest of the family will be or if living in Australia all this time rubbed off on her cousins and aunts and uncles more than it did her grandparents lol.

And I have a cousin who moved from Massachusetts to New Orleans and he has been living for at least 7 years, I think. And if you didn't know he lived in Mass you wouldn't know. He has that southern accent now. Instead of the Bahstahn accent. (Sorry I had to do it).

20 hours on a plane? That's brutal man. I've got a nonstop flight to Salt Lake City coming up and it's ringing in at a tick shy of 5 hours. That's plenty for me.

The trip back is 30 minutes shorter. Another reason why the East coast is superior. We really are ahead of the West!
