    I agree with your overall point but I think the example your using to illustrate it is terrible.

    It takes very little time to make a post and respond to some comments from your phone.

    It can be done waiting for the bill after lunch, a cab ride home, when the new wife is in the shower etc.....

    You make it sound like this is an all encompassing 24 hour event to pull out your phone and essentially write a text message.

        What's wrong with, "I'm leaving for my honeymoon". Followed by, " I'm back"?

                            Don't think I posted on Facebook during my honeymoon but I probably posted on OS. %priorities

                            It bothers me that people are more concerned about posting their experience then just enjoying it. Let Facebook and Twitter complement your life, not be it. It bugs me when the first thing my wife does is post to social media a great meal or sight. She's an actual photographer though, so it's Instagram. If she was a Facebook or Twitter fiend I don't think I could handle it. Put the phone down for a ****ing second. Believe it or not, nobody gives that much of a crap about your life. That's what's so funny, we share our lives and people pretend to care, but they don't care when it's face to face. People mainly just suck.

                            I use some social media but keep it to a limit. Not that anyone has to abide by my self imposed rules, but it's just like come on with some people...

                                I started leaving facebook alone for the first few hours of the day and have a few hours a day where I just keep my phone in my room and on the charger. No need to let your phone control your life.

                                        So after a pretty relaxed winter, we are now under a winter storm warning until Tuesday with snowfall amounts up to 10 inches.

                                        Yeah, whether my boss closes the doors tomorrow or not, I'm not getting out in that mess.
                                        I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

                                        I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
