Re: Off Topic 2015
All this talk about basements, watches and now ipads is making me think about my comment in the grind my gears thread regarding the whole "never miss what you never had" stuff.
People who never had basements won't ever miss it. But I know if I ever move to a house without a basement,I'd miss it alot(ESPECIALLY in the summer.Since the basement has always been my go to place to cool down in summer).
Same applies to so many things, apple watch and ipad(lets just say tablets in general) for example....I'm sure people who don't have it,or didn't have it, probably didn't care awhole bunch about not having it and don't feel like they're missing anything at all. But once getting it,you realize you'd probably miss not having it,despite the fact that you did fine before even having it.Comment

I lived up north, but I grew up with tha Basement. Always had all the freestyles and people hopping on the "Roc the Mic" beat with Big Tig... wait, what were we talking about?

Nah, I have interest in a watch doing all that extra stuff. iPhone serves me just fine when on the go. I don't need everything in life to be some gadget.Comment

I had a basement but not anymore. I don't miss it. Doesn't serve a purpose to me. Just another room.MLB: Texas Rangers

Re: Off Topic 2015
Technically....
Basement-2/3 or less of the level is below ground...but not entirely.(windows). This is determined by the height of the ground at the front of the building.
Cellar- the full level or more than 2/3(rarely) is below ground as determined by the height of the ground at the front of the building.
Class dismissed!
