Of course it is. And it was highly entertaining. But when I played FUT I could never justify spending anymore money than I already had on the game.....I guess that goes for any game really.

But with lottery tickets you at least get a chance at monetary rewards with FIFA you get nothing.

Fifa packs are certainly more fun than lottery tickets, at the very least.

A few months ago I dropped $5 on Clash of Clans gems. I still judge myself for it. I could totally see myself spending money on FUT packs once I get my own Xbox One though, that **** is addicting.

Man, I spent such an absurd amount of money in Ocean City this past weekend while celebrating St Paddy's day.

It makes me sick, just like all the alcohol I drank, which ironically is what I spent the money on.

A few months ago I dropped $5 on Clash of Clans gems. I still judge myself for it. I could totally see myself spending money on FUT packs once I get my own Xbox One though, that **** is addicting.

Had friends that paid money for the "packs" you could unlock by playing Mass Effect 3's multiplayer normally. Random Number Generator, too many things to actually get what you want, and people were dumping 100$ or so on a chance to get a decent in game item.

I've never paid for DLC stuff technically, but I did used to buy ps2 memory cards with NCAA rosters loaded on them which I figure is pretty much the same thing

Psh, I would spend at LEAST a month doing the rosters by myself with nothing but magazines.

I paid $20 to make my player better in NBA 2k14, i have no problem with that as my time is precious. $4k on Ultimate team cards is just bananas though, at least with the Lotto there is a slim chance it could pay off.

Psh, I would spend at LEAST a month doing the rosters by myself with nothing but magazines.

I did that before I realized you could buy rosters on ebay lol, not magazines though, mostly just internet roster searches and recruiting sites.

When I got a ps3 I didn't realize you could download rosters for free and kept ganking (there's a slang for the YKWGMG thread!) my roommate's laptop which she eventually changed the name of to "Rosters Machine" . Before the laptop I had to keep walking back n forth from the PC to the bedroom trying to remember whatever name I was inputting.

Before that, I remember having a big notebook with positions, numbers, height, and weight written down, take that bastard to the computer and spend hours matching up a name to the numbers. I'd spend weeks working on the rosters before I played a single game haha

I don't check the forum like I should anymore but there was one guy here who claimed to have spent 10k on the 2k myteam mobile app. Ubernoob might know who I'm talking about.

The guy's day job was as a policeman and sadly, I actually believe him when he says he spent that much. Crazy.

I approve of the use of the word "ganking," as well as the rest of the contents of this post. I think most of us on here had an unhealthy fondness for sliders or rosters. That's why most of us came here in the first place.
