Re: Off Topic 2015
Basketball the sport is great.
The way college basketball is officiated, however, somewhat ruins the sport. Even as good as Virginia was this season and as much as I enjoy their style of play, I watched maybe a half a dozen of their games this year.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2015
I definitely don't hate basketball. Watching good, exciting basketball in person is vital IMO whether it is high school, college, pro, whatever.
Growing up and when I played in high school, basketball was big, band playing, packed house. Last few years in my community our programs have been down so bad that quality of play sux and no more band.
This has been a factor in my decreased interest, maybe. Very sad for me.Comment

Duke is only behind the Orioles for me as far as level of interest/fandom. I think college basketball is fine.

I can only watch postseason basketball at this point. I have to be there to actually watch a regular season basketball game now, especially after working at them for the past 3 seasons.

You know what is worse than college basketball? High school basketball.
Nothing is worse than watching a bunch of teenagers stand around with the ball for 65-70 seconds, only to turn it over by dribbling it off themselves.
Yes, I had to watch a sibling play, and yes I'm bitter about it.Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles

Yes, I had to watch a sibling play, and yes I'm bitter about it.Yea my college some our state tournament, and a former player on our basketball team was coaching so I went to the game. Now I go to school in New Hampshire and it was unbearable to watch. The play of the players was decent but the game needs a shot clock. For the exact reason in bold.
Back when Isaiah Thomas (Celtics) was at the high school I went to, there was no shot clock. Game against a school I cover now went into OT. They held the ball the entire time, scored once with barely any time on the clock and won. Such garbage without a shot clock.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Jeez...I just read an EW article stating that sales of Marvin Gaye's "Got to Give It Up" has gone up by 246% since the Blurred Lines decision. That's just craziness. At least something positive has come out of that story IMO.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Off Topic 2015
Gonna get MLB15 next week but undecided if I should buy it in store or just buy it on PSN. Only real reason I don't want to buy it on PSN is cause of the file size and fact that I got bandwidth limit on my internet,so downloading game would eat up alot of my monthly usage limit. Not to mention it'd take up alot of harddrive space too.
And last time I went to get a game on release week, the stores didn't even have it out yet,and nobody knew a single thing about it....Comment

They couldn't call a technical or something? It's so obviously a violation of the intention of the non-rule. So wack.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds
