I just saw this. Honestly, I would recommend Hillsborough St., it is near NC State, and there are plenty of decent restaurants. Take the trip on 40 for about 20-30 minutes and visit Chapel Hill and Durham. Durham downtown is awesome, and Franklin St. is legit.

We literally just arrived, and probably our favorite city we've seen on first impression (ahead of NYC, Baltimore, and Cincinnati plus we live right outside Philadelphia). We're probably gonna venture out within walking distance of our hotel here in a bit to grab a drink and maybe some eats, but we've always wanted to check out NC for leisure in the future so I'll keep those places in mind when we have more time.

I don't like online classes. Too easy for me to go full procrastination.

I have the same issue. They should come with a number you can call to have someone come and verbally eviscerate you until you start doing work.

One of my cousins on Facebook just posted a picture of a bacon shell taco with macaroni & cheese and taco meat.

That still counts as abit of a "do it at your own pace" doesn't it? Cause that's what I meant. Even if you got deadlines each week for the class,it still allows you to do it at your own pace, as long as you finish it by a specific time at the end of the week.

Unlike class work where you might get get something and be forced to finish it within the 3 hour window of class or something. Online class,you could even start assignments WEEKS before they're supposed to be started/handed in. I've actually done that in the past too. Spent a week just doing a months worth of stuff for a class(it was all the easier work of semester),so then I had 3 weeks more time to focus on the bigger stuff.

All of these sound like regular class to me.

We get all of our **** before the semester starts, we get a syllabus telling us whenever everything is due..

The only thing I can't get done ahead of time is tests and quizzes.

So I'm pretty sure my friend is close to killing herself and there's not really anything I can do about it.

An update on this whole thing. Everything is alright. Nothing to worry about anymore.

In an unrelated story, got a call this morning that a coworker at the job I just started a few weeks ago passed away this week. Only saw him a few times in that span. Not the best way to start what was essentially a day off.
