Re: Off Topic 2015
Early 30's here and mine is still decent. It's not even the sodas that affect me all that much (because I'm often below the recommended calorie intake anyway + I have a calorie burning job). It's only when I let the saturated fats get out of control that I put on any weight at all.

Re: Off Topic 2015
Since ppl talking about stuff like this...my metabolism for many years was real good. I used to have certain food every single week, food that most other people don't want to have too often cause of how much weight they'd gain from it. And I was never fat or anything for all that time.
Though out of nowhere,it seemed to get messed up and I gained several pounds without even changing anything I ate. Though dropped 10 pounds in like 2 months, still without changing anything I ate lol. And over the winter holidays, during a time where people usually put on 5 or so pounds,I LOST 5 pounds during it lol. Either way, according to that bmi calculator thing, mine is around 21-22, so that's apparently real good(18 and below is underweight,25 and over is overweight)Last edited by Majingir; 05-19-2015, 02:48 PM.Comment

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

@ Kehlis
Didn't want to derail the most wanted thread so I'll ask here...how much to go to one of the races? Is it also like a 2-3 day event or just the singular day?
Also (more important question): is it family-oriented? My family and I are very old fashioned as far as beliefs/values so I like the old-school aspect to it but I don't want to find that it's entirely different from what I thought it'd be, you know?
P.S. - Sorry for the all questions; I truly am intrigued.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

It really just depends how you want to experience it because keep in mind there are hardly any spots inside that you can actually see the entire track so a majority of the race you are watching on a screen until they come around to the final stretch.
And just to be honest, based on your description I can't in good faith recommend it as something you would like.
There is a lot of drinking that goes on and along with that and people who lose bets there's a lot of profanity whether in winning or losing.
Keep in mind I'm speaking strictly of the Preakness, can't comment on how different the Derby is but I do imagine it's slightly different.Comment
