It'd be worth a try...my dad lost 50 pounds purely by moving to water. May mean you can still eat what you want but you just drink water. I used to not be a water fan but it's grown on me.

As far as height is concerned, NC must be in the minority because my 5'8" is around average in my area (Winston-Salem)...whenever I go outside of NC, I'm looking up to everybody by at least 3-4 inches. I'd love to know how tall SuperJames is as I think he's in Greensboro or Raleigh.

I'm 5'11" about 155. Athletic build, but I drink a ton of beer. Metabolism is still strong, but I can feel the dadbod coming. I don't give a ****.

But then again I drink a ton of beer and don't exercise so it's not like I should be surprised.

6'1" and currently 240ish.

My weight fluctuates between 205-250 though. I've put on and taken off and put back on 50 pounds more than a dozen times in the last 6-7 years. I naturally have very broad shoulders so I look too small anywhere under 200. What I'd really like to do is lean down to 205 and then bulk up to 225ish and stay there. I have no problems lifting weights, running, etc. but I am addicted to carbs and desserts. Damn it!

I'm 5'9 and I weigh 160. I go to the gym 5 days a week, but I just cannot gain weight no matter how much I eat or how much protein I consume.

It is really irritating. I'd love to be around 180 because right now I really have no body fat except the love handles which won't go away lol....

About the same for me minus the gym, but that's countered by my moderately physically demanding job.

6'0 195 pounds. At the start of freshman year in September I was 170. Started going to the gym to get back in solid shape.

5'7" 160. Was about 5'5" (maybe actually closer to 5'4") 130 when I started college and actually lost 10 pounds my freshmen year. I just waited until graduate school to do the freshman 15. Went from 5'7" 175 to 190 than gradually worked my way down to my current 160.

5'7, 150...and that's after several years of hard drinking on weekends and not the best diet. My metabolism is insane.
