Speaking of beer, has anyone tried Shock Top? My friend told me to try the chocolate blend the other week, but I didn't see any, so I got the White Belgian. Not half bad.

Shock Top is damn good. It's just like Blue Moon. All the different flavors are pretty good.

For my money, it's gotta be Yuengling. I think they're nation-wide these days.

When drinking cheap I tend to live the High Life. It's the champagne of beers, you guys.

But 99% of the time I'll be the guy overpaying for Blue Moon because hot damn that's delicious.

Yuengling is far from nation wide.

Must be because I'm pretty local (1.5 hour drive from the brewery). I've seen it in my travels too so I thought it had made its way around the country.

I guess it's here on the East coast and some Midwest. Had a pitcher in Cincy, though that's not that Midwest.

It's starting to spread. Until a few years ago there was only the brewery in Pottstown then they opened up a second brewery in Florida which has really helped it's production and distribution.

I don't mind yuengling either, but if you want a truly great local beer, drink pretty much any Dogfish head beer. Obviously doesn't fall in the "cheap and ****ty" category, but it's well worth it.

Haha, Dogfish is probably one of the most known things about DE. Was actually just reading about Rehobeth Beach vetoing their bid to expand their restaurant. Stupid.

Their 60, 90, and 120 minute IPA's get the love, but if you can find it try their Sixty One. Bangin'.

Of the local crafts, I think my favorite is Victory.

Place down the street has Philly craft beers for $3 and half price apps at happy hour. It's a stumble from my apartment, so believe that I've had my share. Great selection. I pretty much sample 2-3 different beers every time I'm there.

I'd say there's some very good breweries in Delaware and Maryland.

I pretty much drink only IPA's anymore and I love Victory.

It's a great transition beer to go from lagers or ales to IPA's.

Well you've got Flying Dog brewed here now, which I really enjoy, and Heavy Seas, DuClaw, and Full Tilt are all good as well. Flying Dog is probably the best known.
