Re: Off Topic 2015
I had a Iphone 4S Which I really liked but really wanted to try something more powerful so I bought a Galaxy S4. I found with the S4s is the battery would be drained by noon, I was a slave to a charger. I loved the features but between the battery and not being able to get used to how huge it was I needed a change. So I bought a Iphone 5S and the battery life is great. It could obviously be better, I dream of the day where I can use it heavily throughout the day and still have battery life left.My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

Re: Off Topic 2015
From my understanding it's actually bad for the battery too. They have a finite amount of cycles and letting it die fully uses one up completely.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

Re: Off Topic 2015
I've heard both. I think the let it die completely then charge it is outdated though. Now I think you want to keep a "medium" charge between like 30-60%.
I work off my phone while streaming music so it's always in use. Gotta have a charger at my desk.
I also play with the settings to make sure no unnecessary crap is running in the background, using location services, etc.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Re: Off Topic 2015
Once or twice in the past year. I start getting freaked out if it ever goes below 70%, and I also have a rechargeable case which nearly doubles my battery life.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2015
I always wait till something is down to around 5-10% or even just dead, before re-charging it.
People always say diff things about it. Some say you should let it die before charging, others say you shouldn't unplug before it's completely charged, others say you should just charge it whenever, and so on.
On a diff topic..today is 7/11(meaning free slurpees at 7/11!). I went in the past on those days, but don't see it worth it anymore. The cup is like the size of your hand, and there's like gangs of people hanging out by the entrance, waiting to finish their drink before going back in and refilling. I remember last time I went,it was later in the evening, and there's like a group of 15 people just standing by the entrance drinking their slurpees. People who looked like the type of people who in a gang, you wouldn't want to walk into late in the day.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2015
Well.....she did it again.
I didn't have time to get my phone for the "action" shot....but I did take pics of the aftermath.
This one didn't end well for The Beast's prey.
Same exact spot as the copperhead.
I was playing ball with all of them....when Nickie started watching a woodpecker(I think that's what it is) fly down from a tree and eat from a fallen tree.....She just went into her Border Collie creep crouch(front paws and chest on the ground....back legs and butt way up in the air)
I didn't think she had a chance....the hawk was a fluke I thought.
But this psycho is born to hunt.
In the Zombie apocalypse ....I'm sending her out for food.
She sat there for a few minutes watching the bird's actions.....timing it I think.....it flew from the tree....and she pounced.
Here is sweet Nickie...(these are after the "session")
...
awwww...so cute....
Here is her conquest...
If only Woody would have called the police...none of this would have happened....
In the second shot...you can see the puncture wound on it's chest right above the claw...
She did drop it when I told her too though.

Re: Off Topic 2015
16 hour bus ride to Mount Fuji, started hiking at 2:40am, reached the summit at 8am, descended and the bus left at 4pm, arrived back here at 10am.
It's been a long few days, but one of the best experiences of my life. Here's some **** quality pictures from my iPhone. There's no way to capture the experience with photos..
The hike itself wasn't too difficult. There are a few different trails available. The route we took had a fair bit of rock climbing in it. The worst part was becoming acclimated with the air towards the top. It was a serious test to make it all the way at the end. I stopped countless times to regain my breath and to let my head stop hurting.. I could hear and feel my heartbeat inside my head.
I've got some other stuff from my GoPro I still need to go through.
