    Yeah, lol.

I'm not even a huge fan of the original Point Break, but how they think they can remake a movie with Keanu Reeves, Patrick Swayze and Gary Busey, and hope to make anything remotely as distinct or entertaining is beyond me. Clearly just an.attempt to cash in on the name recognition of that movie.

I skipped out on Vicodin based on my mom and sister's nauseating experiences with them, but I endured one week of swelling and two weeks of pain after I got mine removed. Was not fun at all.

There aren't a ton of good original movies coming out these days. Remakes, reimaginings, sequels, novel adaptations, comic books/super heroes, etc. I guess most studios aren't interested in taking a chance on something new.

True, especially when you consider all these movies with $100M budgets. They want something that people have already heard of. It's also the reason studios are moving away from marketing star actors to sell there movies, and moving more towards these franchises with interchangeable younger actors whose names will never be above the film title on the marquee. It's easy for them to control.

I'm ok with movies based off of books. I hope they make one for Girl On The Train, it's kinda like Gone Girl.

I'm actually watching Gone Girl right now. Just paused it halfway in. Really into it so far.

I don't necessarily have a problem with the kinds of movies I mentioned, a lot of them are really good. Just an observation really. Sometimes it is nice to see something new and fresh. I think there's something to be said for creating that.

I had no problem until I got a dry socket when I got mine removed. Then it was hell.

I do wish we had more originality in Hollywood. We have too many sequels but as a business I understand why they are doing it. Movies are expensive.

I was surprised how quick it was to take them out. I didn't feel a thing besides a lot of tugging. I'm starting to feel it now though.

No question, it's big business. Gone Girl was awesome though. Didn't see that coming.

Hollywood has always consisted of sequels, remakes, adaptations, and reboots.

Novel and stage adaptation are one thing, but in the last 10-15 years franchises have reached critical mass. I don't think the world was in need of 5 Spiderman movies between 2002-2014, with another series on the way starting in 2017.

Between 1910 and 1940 there were 4 different Wizard of Oz movies.

Not to mention the "re imaginings" of Westerns as Samurai films and Samurai films as Westerns and Samurai films as Space Operas in the 50s, 60s, and 70s.
