gerg1234 I knew about the caliphate thing but didn't know that their end game is to bring about Armageddon. I guess that explains the rather stupid and idiotic tactical move of attacking Paris. I won't get into the whole tactical/strategical aspect of it as it could spin off into a political discussion but needless to say, going after France was a huge blunder.

I also saw the reports about the threat against DC and other countries. Stay safe everyone. This holiday season is a prime time for an attack. I'm actually apprehensive about my mother going to England for a couple weeks on Thursday because of all this craziness.

Do you have to be an insider to listen to ESPN radio show podcasts now? I clicked hour 3 of Russillo and Kanell just now and it said I have to be an insider to listen. When did this start, or is it because the show has only been over for 40 minutes? They let me listen to the Le Batard Local Hour without being an insider, but that's been over for hours so maybe that's why

I couldn't tell you. I am an Insider and tried to look up the benefits but the page just brings me back to the main insider page. And it did bring me to an insider page when I clicked play on an archive. My guess is like you said you have to wait longer.

A quick email question. What service/site do you use for a throw away email? Something for when you sign up for contests, giveaways, sites you don't want to use your personal email for, etc.

Pretty sure Super Smash Bros. followed shortly after. That game had our group of friends wearing out controllers.

Not sure how many GameCube fans that are around here, but on this day fourteen years ago Nintendo released Luigi's Mansion.

The mario and zelda games are only reason I liked gamecube over playstation. I'm still kind of happy with my decision of choosing a gamecube for christmas over a ps2. Cause my friends had playstation,but this was before days of online gaming, so I just went to their house if I wanted to play playstation games. And I had gamecube so when they came over, we played smash bros,mario kart and stuff.

Spent ages playing gamecube lol. I think I almost fully completed mario kart(but the mirror mode difficulty is too hard,not even about skill,just a full game of chance(you WILL get hit by 1-2 blue shells when in 1st),and "rubber band ai") and Smash Bros was the best game for me.

Think SSBM came out in December of 2001 so it's coming up too. Just recalling from some of the trophies my brother racked up in that game and the time stamps.

I still think N64 was the best system Nintendo ever made. Probably the last time Nintendo got really good 3rd party support.

I definitely have a soft spot for Nintendo with fond memories of the NES days, but when my brother got the N64 it changed the game. Literally. 4 players out of the box. Snowboard Kids, Mario Party, Kart, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Smash. The ultimate party system. Something about local multiplayer that gets totally lost in translation with today's online multiplayer.

We still get together and play Smash even with it being online capable now. Can't believe we've been doing that for probably close to 20 years when you think back to the original. That's what gaming is all about in my book.
