Except it's a hypothetical for fun. Not a TV show.

Honestly, I would love the pill that transports you anywhere instantly but short of working really hard this is the one that doesn't provide the lucrative benefits I could get with some of the others.

Easy choice in that case, if I can use one pill to make enough money to buy my own private plane I essentially get two pills in one.

I know, I just like the idea of being able to go across the country to see my family in a matter of seconds rather than an 8 hour travel to see them.


ALso really like the idea of a minute commute to work rather than an hour!

You don't always have to teleport though,just if you want to. Some days if you feel like it,just fly yourself where you want to, other days teleport, other days take a plane.

Exactly. Teleportation,even without doing anything like stealing money, you could still have so much money. Just get a job as a truck driver for like every single company out there lol. Just teleport to each destination, get paid for it. Doing thousands of hours of work, in the span of a day or two. Rack up enough money legally in such a short period of time, and then you're set.

Always weird seeing those types of commercials,advertising some sort of pill/medicine on TV, and it says side effects may include death(or even things that are bad like severe depression,loss of vision,suicidal thoughts, seizures, ect.). People actually take those things? You might have some sort of health issue, but would people actually consider taking something that could very well kill them/make their life worse, to treat their current health problem? Many times,seems like some of those things they advertise on tv, will cause much more problems to people,than the problems that it's designed to treat.

These adverse effects are generally very rare and/or can be prevented by monitoring through routine blood tests, etc. Companies are just required by law to divulge what if any adverse effects may occur.

Any of you guys ever watch Flash Forward ? It went one season on ABC, but it deals with similar dilemmas and I thought it was a great show.

Even though it's one season long, I still suggest it.

It's like that whole "go back in the past,step on a bug,you could alter history" thing. You can change the present to avoid a certain future,but set up a new future while doing so. You might always see a month into the future,and do some things to avoid something from happening, but other things you just won't ever be able to stop. Like if you save one person, someone else ends up dying in the altered timeline. Or save someone from one death,but each time you see 1 month into the future, they end up dying each time,so you're basically constantly doing something each day to save them from dying the way you saw in the future.

Too many people die on a daily basis to event attempt that in the first place. I would stick with preventing major disasters, and getting those lottery numbers and maybe the Super Bowl results.
