Richard Dawson IS Family Feud to me.

His death was a pretty big deal to me. I also liked watching him on Match Game reruns.. that's another really good, classic gameshow.

When I grow up, I want to be a drunken game show host too!

Christmas almost here,and I still got absolutely no idea what I even want as a present. Can't think of a single thing. I know most people will prob just be getting gift cards or movie passes, but for ones who did want to get me something, I have nothing to tell them. Anything I really could use, I know is too much money for them to be spending on a gift.

Any reasonable suggestions?

Christmas has moved so far past its original purpose (even after the Christians co-opted the paganism rituals) that its meaning is different for a lot of people who celebrate it. I have Atheist friends who give gifts, for example. For me its more about celebrating the year with friends and family and sharing our riches with those most important to us rather than being strictly religious or spiritual.

That's my case. I'm an atheist, and even if i don't care about the religious part of Christmas, my family does. I just act like Marshall Lynch in interviews this time of the year, but i try to help my mother and sister to celebrate what they like.



For me, christmas, or the winter solstice (summer solstice for us down here), or whatever, is just a day people get together to eat, drink, talk, ask about embarrassing things (we all had an uncle like that)... It's about trying to have a good time, at least for me.



Living in a country with so many mixed cultures and religions, being an atheist this time of the year was always uncomfortable when i was younger, cause i never understood these festivities.



Now I see it like something that's great from a commercial standpoint, and i understand it a little bit better.

Hahha they can't fine me, but they would probably say "oh, but you should be here with us, celebrating, just like any other normal people, you know?"



My sister always told "you're not not normal, you just sleep and play these damn video games when everyone is celebrating".
