            To be legal and look at it black and white....

            There isn't a condition it must be a half-court short...only the implication from the graphic presented.

            Since I can make a lay-up from 5 feet, I think a defense lawyer would be able to argue that I held up the parameters of the contract and will hence avoid jail time.
