Re: Crime thread
I don't see why it's hard. Every movie theater in the Philippines is in a mall and before you enter the mall you go through a metal detector, a quick feel around the abdomen and check yours bags. Takes no more than 8 seconds to do and it prevents stuff that's been happening in the states.

A quick google search tells me that a metal detector costs about $2500-$4000 so well just say $3000 for arguments sake. Wands are about $40,and we will assume the people you are hiring are going to make $11/hr. Start up costs alone will be about $120,000. After you add in insurance and benefits, each employee will cost about$30,000 per year, so now we have a yearly operating cost of about 3,150,000. These are all low ball estimates but you get the picture. And thats the reason why we dont have metal detectors in malls. My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

Maybe I'm old school but the issue started at the home when these people were kids.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: Crime thread
Speaking of houston, thats harris county right? I got a letter in the mail from harris county about a notice of failure to appear for a traffic citation. Apparently there was a ticket issued to my driver license number there. Problem is, i have never been to texas in my life. Also, after talking with the clerk of courts, i had a warrent out for me because of the failure to appear.
Good thing the lady i talked to was very polite and understanding. All she had me do was fax in my time sheet from work on the day the ticket was issued. She then took it to the DA and got the case dismissed.
