        A few for me.

        I called ramen noodles like "roman" until last year.

        As a kid, the John Deere symbol never made sense to me; took me until I was in HS to realize it was a deer.

        The "D" in Disney always looked a "G" to me as a kid too.

            For the longest time I thought the Montreal Expos logo was a red-e white-l blue-b (which made no sense to me and was why I always called them the elb-os) then I saw someone mention that it was actually a tricolor M.
            Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII
            Penguins : 1990/91, 1991/92, 2008/09, 20015/16, 2016/17
            Pirates : 1909, 1925, 1960, 1971, 1979

                If you ignore the white part, it's also an E & B, which does stand for Expos Baseball.

                                When I moved to South Florida as a kid I was absolutely horrified that there were things like Dolphin sandwiches at restaurants. Then I realized it was not the mammal....

                                    Until a few years ago, I never realized the Milwaukee Brewers old logo was an M and a B in the shape of a baseball glove. I always used to think it was just a baseball glove.

                                        I'm not sure how many people grew up with Cal Worthington car commercials but he would have a jingle saying "if you need a car go see Cal" but everyone I knew as a kid would say "***** Cow"

                                        My mom would be so mad when we would sing it. There's even a Facebook page about it lol. Actually I didn't realize it until the fb page.

                                                            Dorado and Pompano are the two species of dolphinfish, Dorado being known as Mahi Mahi in Hawaiian. I'm sure they put them as dolphin to draw attention, a Dolphin sandwich will catch your eye more than a Dorado sandwich.
